Don't go there because your hands are far from being clean with some of the wicked things that you have said about some on this site. Instead of being still before God you became reckless with your tongue and let it rip. You are not without guilt and far from being sinless. You can take that any way you want. None of us are without sin, just remember that.
Once again i ask nicely to refrain from none constructive unedifying conversation.

P.S. Jesus took all my guilt, and shame on Himself on the cross.

I pray you get this revelation one day.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

My hands are clean, cleansed by my creator. I would hope yours are too, unless you are double minded;)

I would ask you as well silverwind. If you have a biblical question or something of substance to contribute go for it. If not could you, Red, and Zone take it somewhere else?

Thank you and God bless

Galatians 4
15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

It saddens my heart to know how many ''christians'' actually hate the truth, and those that speak it.

''Before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean.”

This isn't saying don't judge at all, but rather it is align with what Jesus says in Matthew 7 about hypocritical judgments.

First take care of your own sin problem before you start pointing out the sin problem in others

If living a sinless life was impossible then none of us would ever be able to help our brothers.

Matthew 7
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

''Repent, and sin no more'', this is the true gospel. The false gospel tells you, you can be free in your sin, the true gospel tells you, you are free from your sin. The false gospel tells you, you have been saved from the penalty of sin, the true gospel tells you, you have been saved from sin itself.

Who the Son sets free is free indeed.

What exactly does being saved from sin itself mean ? ......saved from imperfection ? We get to call ourselves sinless now ? And the "false gospel" teaches us that we've been saved from the penalty of sin, does it ? Are you alright bud ?? I'm quite serious.

If we are ''bound to sin'' then we are ''bound by sin''.

Jesus has freed us from sin, if we are free indeed. If not then we are still bound and not free.

I am now able to choose not to sin. As a matter of fact God has with evey temptation given me a way of escape :)

Good news huh?

Well for one, we are saved from wrath, but I know you knew that already ;)

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (Rom 5:8)

Jude
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Thank God for His amazing Grace

Jesus did not say 'repent', He said, 'Go and sin no more' and it was a proclamation of, NO COMDEMNATION. The adulterous women was not condemned to death through stoning and left the temple freely in the strength of grace that she was given by the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus was without sin and qualified to stone her but He got rid of all her accusers and condemned her not without even a mention of her sin.

lol Hi BoughtbyHisBlood. :) join the club, I don't understand why it is going on so long either.

my guess is that 4runner needs the attention for some unknown reason and can't answer questions on the threads about the topics like the rest of the posters on the forums but because of a deep desire to not be "misunderstood" and "teach" has created this "all about me" thread.

when it begins to fall back into the back pages of the forum he has to post a comment on it and place the spotlight upon himself again. interesting.

wonder why?

oh well I'm off to download some more spurgeon sermons. :)

C. H. Spurgeon Audio Sermons

"Eyes Right

A sermon (No. 2058) by C. H. Spurgeon
“Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.”——Proverbs 4:25.

These words occur in a passage wherein the wise man exhorts us to take care of all parts of our nature, which he indicates by members of the body. “Keep thy heart,” says he “with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” It is clear that every part of our nature needs to be carefully watched lest in any way it should become the cause of sin. Any one member or faculty is readily able to defile all the rest, and therefore every part must be guarded with care. We have selected for our meditation the verse which deals with the eye. These windows of light need to be watched in their incomings, lest that which we take into our soul should be darkness rather than light; and they need to be watched in their outgoings lest the glances of the eye should be full of iniquity, or should suggest foolish thoughts. Hence the wise man advises, “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.” Have eyes and use them. Using them, take care to use them honestly.

With all my heart I invite any who have never yet begun to live after a right fashion, to take Christ to be the way of life to them; and then I entreat them to let their eyes look straight on, and their eyelids straight before them, and to follow Jesus without giving a glance either to the right hand or to the left till it shall be said of them, even in glory, “These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.”- Spurgeon
