Roll clouds are amazing. They are found mostly in Australia. I've seen one once in the 55 years I've lived here. It is possible to see the cloud rotating. Some may notice that the cloud seems closer to the earth's surface over the horizon. This is an optical illusion caused by the curvature of the earth.
