this is why the Apostle from Book of ACTS until now all Baptized in that NAME...they Baptized in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST!

the NAME, that is ABOVE ALL NAMES!!

that's the ONLY TRUE WAY to be WATER BAPTIZED!!

in the NAME!!

so, were you Baptized in TITLES only, or, were you Baptized in the NAME?

there's a major world of difference here.

i will add: nowhere in the Bible do we see healing done or miracles or casting out Demons by any of the TITLES, it is ALWAYS by the NAME....i want my life, my everything, my walk, baptism, all of it, connected to that NAME!

Are there any exceptions? Thief on the cross? Death bed conversions? Places in a drought?
you cannot use the thief on the cross as an example, because baptism in Jesus Name wasn't instituted while He (Jesus) still lived.

Deathbed conversions? Droughts? No water available?

The gospel of Jesus Christ can bring salvation to those who believe, even when no water is present. Take all the water off the earth, Jesus still saves sinners through the gospel. Acts is not a doctrinal book.

Trust me on this if, Jesus Christ by His Divine power, can turn water to wine, he most certainly can turn dessert into water. Don't put limits on the Almighty.

The creation itself bares record of the divine. We are left without excuse. Why would we wait until our last breath to confess God. We had our whole life to do so. But only God truly knows the heart. If they are only asking out of fear of death rather that true love for God, than I say not. Because it is Godly sorrow that works repentance.

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

, and baptism is a symbolic washing away of sin.
The bible NEVER tells us baptism is symbolic. This is what the bible tells us baptism is:
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

This is the Greek word used there for answer:
eperótéma: an inquiry, a demand
Original Word: ἐπερώτημα, ατος, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: eperótéma
Phonetic Spelling: (ep-er-o'-tay-mah)
Definition: an inquiry, a demand
Usage: inquiry, request, appeal, demand; a profession, pledge.

Can you point to a passage where there is any other way to appeal to God for a good conscience? i.e. the "sinners prayer"

Peter uses the example of 8 souls being saved through water in the ark as an example of how baptism saves.
who once were disobedient when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water. 21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

This is a wrong way to look at it

Peter is saying the water of the flood,. like water baptism, is a type of that which truly savesd us

water baptism does not remove filth of the flesh (sin from the soul)

it is the resurrection of Christ which did that.

Jesus saves. Not water. Not a profession. Not repentance. Not anything, but God. So while all these things and more testify to the awesome salvation of God, none produce salvation. There is no power in water. There is no power in men's words. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation.

I'm sorry that is not totally correct. Yes, 100% it is the resurrection of Jesus. This passage tells us how we access the resurrection of Jesus.

He gives the example of people saved through water eight persons, were brought safely through the water.
Then he says those saved through water symbolizes baptism Corresponding to that, baptism
What does he say about baptism? baptism now saves you

If we take out the parenthetical expression, this is how the sentence reads.
Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Baptism saves you through the resurrection of Jesus. That is what baptism does.

The parenthetical expression adds additional information to a sentence but is not part of the sentence. This additional information tells us how baptism does it.
not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience

I access the resurrection Like Jesus told me

Believe (have trust in him) and you will be saved

You do realize that the water was Gods judgment do you not?

The water did nto save them, It judged the world.

They were saved out of the water.

Just like we are saved out of Gods wrath by the ressurection of Christ.

if you want to know how. read John 3, 4, 5 and 6.
