I challenge you to consider if it is possible to gage a person's worldview/religious belief by finding out what makes the person joyful, sad and feeling ashamed.
Very curious to read your views on this. 😉

In any endeavor, the definition of success is determined by what is valued as important. Making the best chocolate chip cookies in the world is a failure if you're playing a basketball game.

That is why worldly people don't understand Christians at all. Their definition of what a successful life consists of are dependent on worldly conditions, which are directly opposed to the conditions of a successful Christian life.

Helping people may be success to a christian, but it sure costs time, effort and money without getting anything in return. That's a failure if your definition of success is making money and being famous.

Serving The Lord in this life sure doesn't "pay much," but:

The Retirement Benefits Are OUT Of This World! ;)

Amen.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ❤️
I really do believe that when we abandon ourselves into God's hands and beg Him to deal with us deep inside our hearts, He will turn us into people who reflect His beauty in this world. Our greatest joy will be to bring a smile on His face when He looks at lives surrendered to Him in love and worship, lives committed to loving and serving Him and others.
We will feel ashamed for the moments where we hurt Him because we are acting in disobedience and we will feel saddened by the fact that there are so many that have never known His presence and His saving power.
No other worldview or religion can compete with what it means to know the Living God as our Creator and Saviour.

Yes.
I think the answer is a simple yes.
Mat 12:34 "... out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."

It should be fairly easy to ask someone their feelings on different things, and assess the underlying values and beliefs.
I think we've all done this when witnessing to the lost.

You may be able to ascertain “to a degree” from a sense knowledge perspective … But to effectively get the full scope of a person ... I would ask God (for the inside scoop) because the senses can be deceptive. The outward emotions that one exhibits can absolutely be genuine… and they also can be a mask … intentional to deceive, or unintentional… as a cover for inner turmoil.
