IMO people who write reviews of theological forums are generally people who have been banned either for heresy or unacceptable behavior from those forums.

anyone is less likely to go out of their way to post a positive review than a negative one. i am far more motivated to express my feelings about a website if i am angry than if i am coming content -

- the same human psychology explains why worldly politics focus on hatred for the opposing party; with all men being wicked, no one good but God, we are more likely to go vote against someone we have been convinced is extremely evil than to vote for anyone in particular.
I did say I didn't buy it.

I also think their reviews are much like asking for proof and getting back in return you are attacking me.

I just don't do that. I always am first addressed before getting too involved into a discussion.

Well, all of Judaism hates Christ.

So I guess those Jews who don't practice Judaism don't.

You do know that Judaism does not embrace Christ, right?

They don't believe He is messiah, nor God.

Jesus says to them in John 4:24 that if they do not believe that He is the "I AM" they will die in their sins.

They do not embrace Him.

Just making a point clear.
there are Jews who believe Jesus is Christ, the messianic Jews...

DINO, all Posters here can testify that YOU said i am wrong many times but CANNOT prove it.

so prove it, so i am not the only one who thinks you conveniently lie.
well i can prove that all of the Law is the Law, not just the decalogue, much less only 4 of the decalogue...

Deuteronomy 27.

For the record, I'm not attacking anybody, but I have seen much that leads me to believe they are not the people of God based on the Bible.

The people of God are as the sands of the sea.

Those people you spoke of are .2% of the world population.

That doesn't work at all.
It is true that they disobeyed God when God said "This is my Son, listen to and follow Him." But prophecy makes clear that, after the Rapture of the Church, God will deal with them one last time. One last cycle of punishment and repentance. It is called "The Time of Jacob's Trouble"

The answer is crystal clear. They continued to obey them.

No, they obeyed the law of Christ of the new covenant. Similar, but how one kept the Sabbath was very different and most of the old covenant laws were abandoned because it was gone and replaced by the same law of the new covenant.

Deuteronomy 27.
Deut 27:
10 You shall therefore obey the Lord, your God, and fulfill His commandments and His statutes, which I command you this day.

^-similar to Exodus 16:
כח וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה: עַד-אָנָה, מֵאַנְתֶּם, לִשְׁמֹר מִצְוֺתַי, וְתוֹרֹתָי.28
And the LORD said unto Moses: 'How long refuse ye to keep My commandments and My laws?

Exodus 21:
א וְאֵלֶּה, הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים, אֲשֶׁר תָּשִׂים, לִפְנֵיהֶם.1
Now these are the ordinances which thou shalt set before them

Exodus 31:
And He gave unto Moses, when He had made an end of speaking with him upon mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

i find it interesting that God called the Commandments : Commandments and Testimony

and the Law, He called : Law, Ordinances, Statutes

with so many possible names, no wonder people think they're all the same.

that is also why I use the Hebrew so we can see the Differences :)

... and at Ebal it is clear that all of it constitutes the Hebrew marriage covenant Law, whether commandment, statute or ordinance.

You wouldn't disobey your husband and claim, he only asked, he did not request, would you?

are you reading the specifics to Ebal, it's specifically a LIST of CURSES, no Commandments, no LAW, CURSES ONLY!!

15"Cursed be the man who makes any graven or molten image an abomination to the Lord, the handiwork of a craftsman and sets it up in secret! And all the people shall respond, saying, 'Amen!'

16Cursed be he who degrades his father and mother. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

17Cursed be he who moves back his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

18Cursed be he who misguides a blind person on the way. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

19Cursed be he who perverts the judgment of the stranger, the orphan, or the widow. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

20Cursed be he who lies with his father's wife, thus uncovering the corner of his father's garment. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

21Cursed be he who lies with any animal. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

22Cursed be he who lies with his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

23Cursed be he who lies with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

24Cursed be he who strikes his fellow in secret. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

25Cursed be he who takes a bribe to put an innocent person to death. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

26Cursed be he who does not uphold the words of this Torah, to fulfill them. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'

really not sure how you are justifying this as the LAW or Commandments. it is CURSES ONLY!

ALL VERSES begin with: Cursed be

Deuteronomy 28:15
"But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you

"Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

Deuteronomy 29:1
These [are] the words of the covenant which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which He made with them in Horeb.

Deuteronomy 30:1-2

Deuteronomy 30:8
And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today.

Deuteronomy 30:16
in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

so, we can agree then this is some kind of LAW, but it is most definitely not the TESTIMONY on the Stone Tablets.

@The_Watchers_2017

nothing here about any of Torah being "optional"

;)

Galatians 5:3
And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.

it is the Law of the marriage covenant of Israel - the decalogue is part of it, a summary, but not the basis of it, nor the totality of it.

it must be understood that they entered into a wedding vow. what you say at the altar when you marry is not the only thing you are required to keep; it is merely representative of the whole.

but it is still not the 2 tablets of Testimony in the Ark of the Covenant.
it's only LAWS.
Deuteronomy 27–30 makes it very clear that the covenant required not "only the tablets" and certainly not only part of the tablets. and ubiquitously in scripture, when the term "the Law" is used or "the Torah" it refers to ALL of what was commanded in this covenant, not just a portion of the tablets.

it's a Covenant to not be CURSED

Deuteronomy 27:1-8
In this final sermon (27:1-30:20) Moses exhorted the people to keep the covenant. He called upon them to renew their commitment to obey the covenant. The people had to choose what they were going to do: obey and experience blessings or disobey and experience a curse.

the COVENANT is the LAW, not the Commandments

Paul spoke Hebrew better than you, and from his writings it is clear that "the Law" isn't just a few of the things written on the tablets.

James spoke Hebrew better than you, and from his writing it is clear that "the Law" isn't just a few of the things written on the tablets.
