Proclamation.

1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

God Bless You :)
AMEN!

He broke bread and gave it, gave drink to be drank.

But, He does not eat His Own Ceremonial Body nor drink His Own Ceremonial Blood.
We do that.

Jesus said, "fruit of the vine".
Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

it appears, the fruit of the Vine, is being placed in the "same category" as Jesus Blood.

no reason for Jesus to Drink from His Blood or eat of His Body.

God is not a Cannibal, even in Ceremony.

Do you truly not understand the purpose and point of this ordinance and sacrament??
It is a ritual of remembrance that points to His Atonement. Getting hung up on whether the bread was white or wheat is pretty lame.

Actually, YES.

I DO know that.

What you CLEARLY don't know is that the term Jew was not even a word at all at the time Jesus walked the earth. The people YOU believe to be Jews in Jesus' time were not at all Jews as you understand Jewry.

The Bible couldn't be more clear as to what Christ thought of the Jews of His day.

'For fear of the Jews' was repeated over and over in the Gospels. Jesus spoke nothing BUT harshly about the Jews of His time. There is not the most remote possibility that Jesus was a Jew, by blood OR religion, and it is absolutely obvious as it could possibly be in the Scriptures.

I'm sorry that you are unaware of what you are talking about, but we don't know a thing until we learn it and all Christendom has lied to you about this subject for as long as you've been learning anything at all about God or the Bible.

It's much easier to fool someone than to get them to admit they've been fooled.

You have been fooled, my friend. And the Bible fully supports that fact.
this is not worthy of a BAN, but, the Book of Esther [4th Century BC], is the first time the use of Jew, to refer to the inhabitants of Israel was given life.

14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and rescue will arise for the Jews from elsewhere, and you and your father's household will perish; and who knows whether at a time like this you will attain the kingdom?

So, in Jesus day, they would have definitely been called Jews.
much like Jesus, being called, King of the Jews.

i do, but, why would God need to participate in it?
He, is the Source, of the Ritual.

Same reason He was baptized, had his feet washed, and so many other things. Jesus taught by example. He is showing us how to be servants and how to remember what He did for us. Jesus did not die on the cross to cleanse from His own sins either. He became man to teach men as well as save men.

Deuteronomy 14:26
Then you may spend the money on anything you desire: cattle, sheep, wine, strong drink, or anything you wish. You are to feast there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice with your household.

You were saying?
that you clearly objected to read the Verses before this one.

it relates to carrying your Tithing.

23 And you shall eat before the Lord, your God, in the place He chooses to establish His Name therein, the tithes of your grain, your wine, and your oil, and the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep, so that you may learn to fear the Lord, your God, all the days.

24 And if the way be too long for you, that you are unable to carry it, for the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name therein, is too far from you, for the Lord, your God, will bless you

25 Then you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and you shall go to the place the Lord, your God, will choose.

26 And you shall turn that money into whatever your soul desires; cattle, sheep, new wine or old wine, or whatever your soul desires, and you shall eat there before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.

so the Thread OP was absolutley Correct.

but, i wonder, did this CHERRY-PICKED Verse get him Banned.

Please, can you tell me the Doctrines you abide by.
There's at least 3 that also uses Cherry-Picked Verses.
Just wondering if you happen to follow those and are just used to picking random Verses and making a weapon out of it?

He is the Sacrifice.
Why does He eat of His Own Sacrifice?
this makes no sense at all.

Nowhere does Bible say He ate His Body or Drank His Blood.
why are we adding to the Bible that He did.
it clearly shows He did not.

Many medicinal products contain alcohol.
1 Timothy 5:23
“Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.”
I've compounded remedies for my family that contain alcohol. A dropper full is usually the dosage. As for stomach issues, I wrestled with this verse and have come to the opinion that....
A. Paul had the authority and insight from God to practice health. So did the priesthood under the O.T. law.
B. After my former pastor taught that the alcohol was to heal Timothy's ulcers from the nagging preacher lady in his congregation, I had to question that.
There are instructions to not permit that to occur. He likely would not permit it to happen and cause him that much stress to bring about ulcers. I know you aren't claiming that. It's just a personal experience from the pulpit I used to listen to as an illustration.

If Timothy had ulcers, alcohol would inflame and aggravate it, likely delay healing.
There are certain fruits that are common remedies for digestive health.
I'm not against the medicinal use of alcohol when it applies. I just have come to the opinion that this particular case was more likely the unfermented wine/ juice since I am unaware of alcohol for digestive tract healing.
For instance, I just made some hot juice/ tea from fruit to deal with a personal challenge. I might post the testimony elsewhere. Perhaps it will be a blessing to others.
It's not like the verse proves or disproves a doctrine. Since it's open ended without more details, we can't be certain IMHO. I agree that alcohol has it's place as medicine. I just don't think this is the verse to follow in regards to using it for digestive issues. YMMV and if it does, I am open to testimonials.

NO, there's no Reason Jesus needs to eat His Own Flesh and Drink His Own Blood.

show me in the Bible why He needs to do that?
1 Corinthians 11:24,25
“And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
“After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”

He is teaching us what to do by example.
