I must be a heathen. All I like from that list is Bibles, microphones and toothpaste. All the rest I am not really fond of.

That is strongly culture dependent. In some places elderly people with full sets of pearly whites is regarded as very strange.

Yup. All these root canals and crowns and dental veneers are seen as sheer vanity in some countries.

Christian tattoos? is there a such thing? God is against tattoos, i believe.

yea heaps of people in church have them now.
I dont know how they got around having them, but supposedly Christian tattoos are ok.

another "monkey see, monkey do"! how many things can someone do that are against God but still be a Christian? hhhhmmmmmm! that fine line that only Jesus knows. (Proverbs 30:6 & James 2:10)

I notice wealthy christian women like to wear strands of pearls round their necks and diamond rings.
Not sure if this is against God as long as they dont tell the poorer women with no fancy dresses to sit in a corner away from them

Me, as long as the clothes I have on are clean, they let me in.

Other essential items

pot of food to share, usually some kind of pasta bake

There used to be a SAP (self-appointed preacher) with the nickname GOP. He was real big on bumping his old threads with a post like, "Praise be to the Lord!"

So yeah... At least lanolin's bump posts are better than his, but that's a very low bar to clear.

I had this idea that all Christians just listened to Gospel. Was I wrong!

Yeah, no... I have everything from Christian bluegrass and Christian R&B to Christian rap and Christian heavy metal in my collection.

Ringing in the ears means volume was too high. Turn it down. Or if you're at a concert, use earplugs.

here's something single Christians might like: a speed dating system for single Christians only. since there is in place already, a trust element amongst Christians, with the proper atmosphere, i think this would work. you can meet someone & enjoy a 5 minute talk & see if compatibility exists. time can be saved by meeting many people in 1 day's time. perhaps, if not compatible, a friendship can develop anyway.
