You say he only forgive past sin, it means he only died (covered) past sin.

You can;t have it both ways.

If you truly understood the law and the symbology, you would understand the high priest HAD to sacrifice once a year for all past sins.

So if Jesus did not die for ALL sin forever. then he has to come back down and die for those he did not die for to begin with.

How can you have the promise of eternal life. the promise you will never die, the promise you will never hunger or thirst. the promise you will be risen on the last day. the promise you have been given every spiritual blessing under heaven, The promise you have not been given a spirit of fear but of a sound mind, that he who began a good work will complete it. That by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. That you have passed from judgment to life. That he will never leave nor forsake you. UNLESS you are completely forgiven of all sin.

You can;t. Non of those promises are applicable. And we have to live daily in fear, not going to our abba father,, and without a sound mind, and we better never rest. because our eternity now depends on our actions..
