Grace believer, stop adding to the Gospel

From the first post here to yours I had several responses I wanted to give but yours here deemed more importance.. Your request made me not able to express how I met him. met God not by church or influence but by all I have known of being unloved uncared about always underestimated always wondering what it feels like to actually be loved to matter just the sensation of of being enough.

Why others came to Christ I cannot say but I know all to well and still struggle with self worth always recieving the short end of the stick never knowing or understanding why though I am more than willing to help give or even suffer for others I myslef cannot have or recieve just basic understanding or love I even had a dream where I met a family who by no means were perfect they truly and actually loved and cared for each other this was the first time I encountered Jesus himself I saw this family longing so deeply to have what they had I asked them if I coulkd join their family knowing that is a super big thing to ask being brought into another family especially age wise or even the odd request of being grafted into a blood line that is not your own

I had the nerve to ask such a thing to request being grafted into an actual family people who take you because they actually care they see something in you how I would miss the family friday nights in my family when we would have family game or movie nights but I was always treated as to dumb to even cook eggs.

I met him in this despare it wasn't as if I hadn't been expose to the usual teaching of church it is as if I didn't grow up with the basic teachings of going to sunday church even if only by tradition but I met him because of everything lacking not because of what I was taught or shown.

If I can express myself in one way is that I have never been able to see past everuthing wrong with me veverything I lack everythning I should be but in that dream when I asked this family if I could join them I was met by a man in shaggd poorly dreseed in clothes of dirt and ragged used clothing hugged me the warmth he poured into me the love that reversese everything you may have lacked everything you craved but could never recieved and he said to me I had to make my family like this.


Those who lack are all the more grateful for what he does what he is how he sees us
To be seen even if you aare unable to see it in yourself we know grace we are all the more grateful for every good thing he gives does or says of us.

Grace as a topic is highly divided debated and misunderstood but how many times I have simply expressed my grattitude for him being there for putting up with me when I have more than once blashpemed curse and cussed at him more than deserving of being struck down such people are actually grateful and understand the value of his grace we know where we stand we know where we have been we know what we have done yet he was there we could always talk to him we could always express everything that alone makes us worship him just for being there

Grace is so misturdood the value of it what it actually means to those who need it it is just a topic to most people debate about it all the time but grace is a treasure a miracle for some a topic to debate and attack and strech for others

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) To "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation.

To either "front load" or "back load" works into the gospel is to pervert the gospel. (Galatians 1:6-9)

From beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works. (Romans 3:24-28; 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9 etc..).

Its funny because the hypergrace folk use Paul’s letters as proof of unconditional grace and no duty or actions required but Paul’s letters are probably some of the strictest Christian doctrine in the Bible lol and he’s constantly telling them they need to obey e writhing he’s telling them because they all have to answer for thier works in the end

i would invite people to just read one single letter from Paul maybe the book of Galatians or Ephesians read it as a single letter from an apostle of Jesus Christ and let everything he’s saying be true ……you will find a totally new understanding of what Paul was actually preaching

The word "gospel" means "good news." Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel. John the Baptist also preached the gospel of the kingdom, which was, "..Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2)

Jesus Christ sent the twelve to preach only to Israel. Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ The disciples were specifically told to go only to the people of Israel, and "Pre Cross" they were not yet preaching anything about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. This shows that before the cross, the more distinct element to the content of the gospel of the grace of God that Paul taught and came to him through a revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12) was still a mystery.

In Matthew 16:15, Jesus Christ asked His disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Now Peter had no clue that Jesus Christ would be crucified, buried and resurrected, yet he did believe that Jesus was the Messiah. This is obvious when, only moments later, Peter rebukes Jesus Christ for saying he will be killed, and be raised again the third day" (Matthew 16:21). In verse 22, "..Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

Before his death, Jesus told the twelve that he had to die and that he would rise on the third day. Looking back upon this passage we see this as Jesus speaking of an event that would change everything! However, it is unquestionable that the disciples were ignorant of its meaning.

“Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem...And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. – Luke 18:331-34.Now that's strange if the further content of the gospel that came through a revelation of Jesus Christ to Paul and was a mystery prior to that has the exact same content as the gospel of the kingdom. *This is where we need to RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH.

After his crucifixion, instead of anxiously waiting his resurrection, the apostles were still ignorant, disheartened at the death of their redeemer, and did not even at first believe the testimony of his resurrection. (Mark 16:14, Luke 24:19-24) It was not until after his resurrection that Jesus appeared to the apostles and opened their understanding. (Luke 24:44-47)

I don't believe there are multiple gospels, yet through progressive revelation, there is a more distinctive element to the content of the gospel which Paul received from Christ and is called "the mystery of the gospel." (see Ephesians 6:19 and compare with Colossians 1:26-27; 4:3) This new revelation is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise. (Ephesians 3:6) Such equality, Jew and Gentile united together in one body was previously unknown. The distinctive message of the church is that Jew and Gentile alike may believe the gospel and be united together into one body. (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

your saying our Kord coming and promising everlasting life ? Resurrection of the dead ? To mortal humans who are ll gonna die ? You’re saying Jesus promising a new perfect world we’re death doesn’t exist and where sin doesn’t exist and sorrow doesn’t exist and we will walk and talk with him this isn’t good news ?

You’re saying what paul said in a few sentences with no context …..is somehow better than the real gospel Jesus was sent to earth to promise mankind which paul wholly believed and presched ?

air you guys who push this stuff would just truly go read the four gospels you would hear the good news that God has spoken forth to sinners for salvation in his eternal kingdom

there is no other gospel but the real one there are four books dedicated to the gospel Jesus died and rose and that’s in every one of them Paul preached it all though eternal judgement , repentance , obedience , ect it’s all working to change believers there is no gospel of grace other than the real gospel

The gospel of the kingdom of God is what Paul preached also he calls it the gospel of hope the gospel of grace the gospel of god the gospel of gods son but he’s not talking about five gospels he’s just talking about but e real gospel of which he became a believer and apostle there’s no second gospel that’s a true heresy that can destroy souls no matter how we try to spin it and explain it paul was one of twelve apostles that preached thy the gospel to Jews first and then gentiles

the doctrine was the same from all of them Peter was preaching grace and faith too he just uses other words like Paul Peter always made sure the rest was there too the repentance and obedience part the warnings out continuing in sin part the eternal judgement to come parts

“And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. the gospel is full of grace and faith but not if we avoid it by claiming there’s a different gospel …..

"The Gospel according to the Mystery of Christ is unique in that it is freely
given to all 1) without Israel; 2) without the Law; 3) and without any covenant.

Though I have said this repeatedly, it is not new with me. The gem below
was written over 70 years ago by pastor Harry Bultema speaking of Paul’s
apostleship.

“He was saved in a different manner than they; by the vision and dialogue
of and with the risen, glorified Lord. No one was ever saved as was Paul.

He was saved apart from the twelve apostles.
He was saved apart from Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
He was saved apart from the Law.
He was saved apart from any and all covenants.
He was saved apart from all good works.”

In other words, he was saved on the road to Damascus according to
the Mystery Revelation of Christ (Eph 3:7-9). He was the apostle of
the Mystery Gospel without Israel, without the Law, without covenants
(Eph 6:19-20; Rom 11:13; Col 1:25-27).

Christians protest at adding works to the Gospel of the Grace of God,
but they won’t bat an eye at adding Israel, the Hebrew epistles, the
new covenant, or the Holy Land to God’s operation today.

Adding these things departs from the preaching of Jesus Christ according
to the Mystery, because it departs from the pattern of Paul’s salvation.

Don’t fail to set apart the prophecy of Israel’s land, law, apostles, and
covenants from what God is doing today.

Adding these things corrupts the Clear Gospel of Grace just as much as
adding works. This setting apart is necessary to prevent adding anything
to the Gospel of Christ. That’s why we call it right division."

We have "grace believers stop" we have "Christians protest". When some unknown Christian starts telling other Christians that belong to a GOD what to do puts up some red fags for me. The same goes for me if I did it. Some will jump on this high five it so to speak others will try to make it more clear because they see better. What Harry Bultema said or didn't say no different then adding say "Billy Graham said...". Granted Calvinism comes into play here. Pfft way to many *ism.

See its not the holy spirit talking its just a believer that disagrees with other believers yet steps where they should not. Telling others to stop just pushes them away. See who are you talking to? Maybe address them PM them? Or talk more about Grace works and scriptures and why you believe what ever it is you do believe in.

God does want us, of course, to obey Him. Believing Jesus for eternal life IS obeying Jesus. This is the work of God.. they you believe in Jesus.

Works .. are not part of gaining salvation.. otherwise what is Jesus' sacrifice for? No one can keep up God's standard of law of righteousness.. no one.. it's not possible. The law is the end of righteousness for all who believe in Him.

God does want us, of course, to obey Him. Believing Jesus for eternal life IS obeying Jesus. This is the work of God.. they you believe in Jesus.

By doing good works we are testifying about God's goodness, which is why our good works bring glory to God (Matthew 5:16), and by testifying about God's goodness, we are also expressing the belief that God is good, or in other words, we are believing in Him, which is why there are many verses that connect our belief in God with our obedience to Him.

No one can keep up God's standard of law of righteousness.. no one.. it's not possible.

There are many examples of people who kept God's law, such as those in Joshua 22:1-3, Luke 1:5-6, Revelation 14:12, and Revelation 22:14. In Deuteronomy 30:11-16, it says that God's law is not too difficult for us to obey and that obedience to it brings life and a blessing, and Romans 10:5-8 references that passage as the word of faith that we proclaim.

The law is the end of righteousness for all who believe in Him.

In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know Him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them, so he is not the end of the law, but rather the experience of knowing God and Jesus is the goal of the law, which is eternal life (John 17:3).

In Romans 9:30-10:4, they did not attain righteousness because they misunderstood the goal of the law by pursuing it as though righteousness were earned as the result of their works in order to establish their own instead of pursuing the law as through righteousness were by faith in Christ, for knowing Christ is the goal of the law for righteousness for everyone who has faith, so nothing in Romans 9:30-10:10 has anything to do with Jesus ending God's law, but just the opposite.

While it is true that Abraham believed God, so he was justified (Genesis 15:6), it is also true that he believed God, so he obeyed God's command to offer Isaac (Hebrews 11:17), so the same faith by which he was justified was also expressed as being an obeyer of God, but he did not earn his justification as a wage as the result of his obedience (Romans 4:1-5). In James 2:21-24, Abraham was justified by his works when he offered Isaac, his faith was active along with his works, and his faith completed his works, so he was justified by his works insofar as they were expressing his faith, but not insofar as they were earning a wage.

This is obvious when, only moments later, Peter rebukes Jesus Christ for saying he will be killed, and be raised again the third day" (Matthew 16:21). In verse 22, "..Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

After Jesus' crucifixion, instead of anxiously waiting his resurrection, the apostles were still ignorant, disheartened at the death of their redeemer, and did not even at first believe the testimony of his resurrection. (Mark 16:14, Luke 24:19-24) It was not until after his resurrection that Jesus appeared to the apostles and opened their understanding. (Luke 24:44-47)

there is no other gospel but the real one there are four books dedicated to the gospel Jesus died and rose and that’s in every one of them Paul preached it all though eternal judgement , repentance , obedience , ect it’s all working to change believers there is no gospel of grace other than the real gospel

What's heresy is a "different" gospel that promotes salvation by works. (Galatians 1:6-9) Do you even understand the purpose of Peter's vision in Acts 10:9-16?

the doctrine was the same from all of them Peter was preaching grace and faith too he just uses other words like Paul Peter always made sure the rest was there too the repentance and obedience part the warnings out continuing in sin part the eternal judgement to come parts
