We don't produce fruit. Either God produces fruit or He doesn't. Disobedience does lead to death for unbelievers, and correction for believers, but disobedience is never called fruit in scripture.
Yes, we are called to bear fruit, not to produce it. It is the Life of Christ within us that causes us to bear fruit. If Christians had a better grasp of that truth, their lives would be much different.

They all say same thing including the same message before and after are the same as you have eternal life because you hear and follow God.

That is the issue here, I know I am engaging someone sold out on cherry picked Verses.

I only know to do is say, I wish you the best.

I choose to do what Jesus said to do, hear, follow, remain and the next Verses say I have Eternal Life.
Thanks for the dialogue.

I like the way John MacArthur puts it:
"If you could lose your salvation, you would."

remember, my FIRST POST in this Thread, is all about Quenching the Spirit.
that is my focus for the entire Thread.
But my FIRST POST in this Thread (Post#1) was about the Sealing of the Holy Spirit.
that (and the security it brings) was my focus for the entire Thread.

and the SAME Verse you used for SEAL, also has Quenching the Spirit.

imagine that, you do separate the 2, for your personal beliefs.

Matt 7:17-20 Ah Cameron It Staes plainly here we are to produce good fruit. A good tree does not produce bad fruit. We are to be doers of the WORD AND NOT HEARERS ONLY! (James1:22) Can Holy Spirit lead us in this? SURE!!! BUT!!! We have to produce it. If Holy Spirit has to produce it, then he lacks production. And we know Holy Spirit is complete to start with.

it's what i directed to the Creator of the Thread.

So, it really is only a Discussion between them and myself.

everyone else chose to jump in and twist it and here we are.
@The_Watchers_2017 did post#6 on Sunday and I responded with post#8 on Sunday and then I made one more post that night (post#9). [Page 1] And the very next day (Monday) there were 141 more posts (69 from @The_Watchers_2017 and 72 from all others combined). [Page 8] And now we're on page #28.
I apologize to everyone if my schedule doesn't allow me to spend time each night on here, but I was a little overwhelmed. And ordinarily I would be absolutely thrilled with the response, except the vast majority of the posts that day were totally off topic, and I'm afraid, @The_Watchers_2017, you are the one that derailed the thread. I'm sure you didn't mean to, but the function of the Holy Spirit in sealing the spirit of man (providing eternal security for the believer) is NOT THE SAME as the filling, obeying, quenching, or grieving the Spirit. All of these things may take place AFTER the sealing, but NONE have anything to do with the sealing itself or the destiny of the soul.

i only apologize that i pointed out the usage of a Verse that has both a Warning and a Promise.
who knew that's what we're supposed to do, post a complete Verse and ignore half of it.
for that, i guess i apologize.
not sure if i should go 100% apology or just 50% now?

We aren't the tree. We are branches. We don't produce fruit. We just show it off.

I have already explained to you that the sealing and grieving (Ephesians 4:30) are NOT the same. If after looking those words up you still want to define them the same, there's nothing else I can say to help you understand.
How can you possibly get confused about the difference between grieving (something we do to Him) and sealing (something He does to us)?

i don't recall saying they were the same.
just pointing out that both a Warning and Promise is happening.

The Greek word is lypeite, which means to "make unhappy." Paul's point is fundamental to the entire Christian understanding of sin. In short, believers can make the Spirit unhappy by our sinful actions.

look at this cross-reference of of John 15's introduction to Jesus the Vine, Isaiah 27:1-13 and v. 9 in particular

9Therefore Jacob’s guilt will be atoned for,
and the full fruit of the removal of his sin will be this:c
When he makes all the altar stones
like crushed bits of chalk,
no Asherah poles or incense altars
will remain standing.

and this is the footnote *c that accompanies it

9 c LXX Therefore the guilt of Jacob will be taken away, and this is his blessing when I take away his sin ; cited in Romans 11:27

and following the reference to Romans 11:27

27And this is My covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”h

it seems there is an idiosyncrasy? between "full fruit" and "his blessing" in the removal of his sin along with "My covenant," that is, "When he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing."

Apparently, this is what is to be that which 'bears no fruit and is cast into the fire to be burned,' altar stones, Asherah poles, and/or incense altars and such that these things signify.

Asherah is the pagan goddess same as isis and aphrodite.

The mother of Baal.

So, holding idol sin.

don't you think it quite peculiar though? that the Asherah pole is included with altars of incense, of which even those of the temple no longer stand?

Nice find btw.

I really enjoy when we get researching and discover little gems like you have done.

I watched a video about an ancient Judah King after David and they found the remains of the Temple Altar and it came back hemp Marijuana mixed with incense.

This king was a bad person. They were getting stoned worshipping idols

At any rate, I gather the fruit being true worship, and not only in gestures in the use of incense, is the only thing that is truly pleasing to God.
