I think if you have read my posts that question would not make any sense. What I am saying is this
1. I watched it. So obviously I am not discouraging anyone else from watching it. In fact there is almost nothing in this movie that would offend Christians, you have a very attractive young lady in a bathing suit, but that is as far as it goes. Almost no blood, no violence and I don't think there was much in the way of offensive language. Barack Obama and Michelle Obama produced this, so this is not for his crowd, it is set around upper middle class families with a short view of a blue collar worker.

2. When this thing does hit, and it will, the only salvation will be with Christians turning to the Lord. That is the point of the tribulation and the judgment on the US.
Now you are asking if believers should be aware of the times. A key thing that believers should be aware of is who Barack Obama is, and who is Beelzebub, the Lord of the flies? Because if it is possible they will deceive even the elect.

This to me is the message of this movie, trust no one (you see that with the Kevin Bacon character as well, and Julia Roberts keeps reenforcing that too).
My point is that when this stuff falls apart it will only be by the christians being united and standing together that they will survive.

Two weeks before 3 mile Island we had "China Syndrome" released. It preps people to be much more scared.
Think of all the movies about pandemics from Contagion, to Outbreak, to Bird Box in 2018 and Infection in 2019. This is designed to prep people for maximum panic so they can't think rationally or use common sense.
Now this movie is also seen as something to prep the world for panic after an attack, and the attack described is very accurate, however, not trusting others is exactly the goal of the attack.

The description of the movie's message did seem to focus on the cataclysms and the demonization of the "white people."

That's a good point. It's easier for them to control those who panic. The fearful shut off reasoning and look to the so called authorities for help. Then the power structure moves in to dominate the population, ie. Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. On a larger scale are the wars following the false flags.
The movie is a psyop, it is preparing the population so that when this happens they think they know what is going on and do nothing, stay in their homes until it is too late.
The purpose of this movie is not to wake people up. But the three psyops I referred to with 3 mile Island, the Pandemic and this are all different.
With 3 mile Island they wanted people to become very scared and distrustful because you know the news will be coming out with "things are contained" and "things are under control". With the Pandemic they have been pushing this since Andromeda strain about 40+ years before the Pandemic. They wanted maximum panic and minimum rational thinking. Because there is no way for you to prepare for this.
But with this they don't need to push the "distrust" anymore, that is already at maximum level, nor do they need to push the fear. This was all about being paralyzed and doing nothing. Because of that I think we are close enough to this thing happening in the US that you won't be giving a sales pitch to the preppers.
Therefore I think we might be weeks away from this event (hopefully more than a week away).

Maybe we should focus on that probability.
I am not in agreement with their doctrines, but give credit where it's due. They are ideally established as communities in many ways. They have properties within families. The traditionalists live off the grid. They have a lot of good old fashioned agricultural practices as a group. It seems that they hold as a culturally traditional family structure. Some call it "simple lifestyle.". It's a doable existence as might be required for survival.
There's a big obstacle for them and others.
The obvious ones are,
A. Those who are like 90++% of Americans and western nations will not go through the learning curve necessary to survive off grid, or produce food. You can't just wake up one day and start doing what Amish have for generations. That's the reality of WOROL in the industrialized world that is over dependent upon the system that makes life easier/ convenient.
B. The small old world Mennonites, Amish, etc are pacifists and pride themselves as such. I love these people, so I hate to see what will happen when the gangs take what they want and likely just take their settlements women, children and goods.

I'm talking about gangs of libtard families, friends, middle eastern groups, communists groups from SA/ MA, Somalia and many Africans that come across the border by the thousands every day. Even the homo rednecks would get into trucks to go steal rape and pillage. I'm not talking all rednecks. I'm talking about depraved _____ that frequent men's rooms and would murder families without conscience if they thought they could get away with it. I've had those damned queers threaten me more than once. The gangs will form everywhere when society breaks down and people starve. Think The Road with Vigo Mortesen.

I lived in the country most of my life so far.
As a boy, we had to be careful when we rode our minibikes down the long dead end road across from us. The Pagan biker gang used to hang out at times in "the tunnel" underpass and party.
Later I was shot at more than one occasion by redneck groups. I've had threats and attempts on my life of all kinds in that "nice middle class neighborhood." We had great neighbors, but you couldn't depend on them getting involved when there were break ins in the middle of the day.
The chief of police's son at the time was always committing crimes and getting off.
I had to deal with WVU college football players and other athletes who could have killed anyone with or without a weapon.
Has I been a pacifist, the meth head who tried to get into my house would be using my phone right now and sleeping in my bed.
That's in a nice neighborhood with professionals seniors and families living around me.
As for the Mennonite, Bruderhoff, Pennsylvania Dutch groups, I don't have reason to believe that they will be forming marauding gangs. I just see them as easy targets and victims of such.
