As an aside Lara Logan has just done a wonderful job of investigative journalism showing that many of these ones who posted about the Jan. 6th event online were actually FBI agents. We know there were two bus loads of FBI "assets/agents" at the capital. We should not be surprised if they also are coming onto Christian chat now that this is an election year.

We follow the Torah and the Talmud. I do not (nor most Jews) speak ancient Hebrew therefore we certainly rely on our scholars for guidance. Do you have evidence that we put them on some sort of parity with G-d or is this just your uninformed opinion? Rabbi's make mistakes and good ones will freely admit that. I don't always agree with them but we do not have the option of disagreeing with the Torah or the Talmud.
No, just asking based off my understanding of how some view the position of the Rabbi. I do find comfort that You are telling me people are reading and studying for themselves. That is great news.

In summary, what insight has she shared on the "orthodox" jewish perspective on the Law and the Prophets?

Now I thought that "orthodox" meant Hasidic, but she has qualified that, in her opinion they are "ultra orthodox" whereas she is "orthodox". I have yet to see her share on any word from the Bible, nor do I have any idea where her beliefs differ from reformed Jews.

Based on what she has said about Israel and about living in Toronto it seems to me safe to say she isn't a Zionist.
Well, I’m sure the fact that she doesn’t put an “o” in God is more than enough of a good deed to face G - d on judgement day.

I think what many find so interesting about this thread and this person is that they can ask questions about her understanding of the law and the prophets. So it has been very disappointing that she starts a thread about answering questions from an Orthodox Jew and yet refuses to answer any questions that we have asked her about the Law and Prophets.

I agree, I think this does indicate a certain level of belief in God, and a certain level of respect.

Why do You think Aviva is a chatboxgp, or an under cover fed, or some implemented tool to sway the masses? That seems overboard paranoid. How can a Saved Person be so Paranoid?

I'm glad I saw this before I blocked you. The reason we leave out the letter O is because we are not allowed to spell any of G-d's names in a place where it can be easily altered or destroyed. This is based on our reading of Deuteronomy 12 which you could have found out via a 2 second Google search, or just asked me were you not only interested in attacking. Bye bye!

lol! Blocking me is such an arduous task it couldn’t be done right then and there to keep your word.

And what pray tell would happen if you did put that o in there?

You got no temple. You can’t sacrifice an animal to atone for that egregious sin.

I don't have any idea who she is.

What I know is this, she claims to be an orthodox jew, though not as orthodox as Hasidic Jews, her two interests on this site are talking about being an orthodox Jew and telling Americans that the orange man is bad. I asked her 5 questions about the Law and the prophets, she refused to answer one of them and put me on ignore. PennEd asked her several questions about the Law and Prophets and now she has put him on ignore. The thread is set up to answer questions about her Orthodox Jewish faith and yet she has not answered a single question we have asked.

Someone asked her a question and she refused to ask because they quoted the KJV, ultimately we got a Jewish translation and although it wasn't "identical" it seems anyone could see both are translated from the same Hebrew text.

What I have noted concerning ChatGPT is that it is very capable of answering any question you might ask a high school kid and with some work could probably write a very good college level essay (you have to know how to answer the questions and give it specific guidelines). But when I asked ChatGPT specific questions about the Bible, questions that anyone who was very interested in the Bible would love to dive into, but not your basic doctrinal questions, ChatGPT simply responded "there are many different theories" or something like that.

If I was an Orthodox Jew who believed in God, believed the Bible was the word of God, and wanted to share about that to Christians I would have loved all the questions about the Bible people have asked her. Instead she has given every excuse in the book why she won't respond to them and makes up stuff (she was able to discern my motive in asking the questions was not good -- read my questions, that was BS).

But notice, why would an orthodox Jew who is not American and does not live in America and will not vote in the election be immediately drawn to a thread about Trump and Biden? Why would you have such strong opinions? We have had two populist candidates elected in the last few weeks in two countries. How many Americans know about them, care about them, much less would go to a forum to discuss them?

Again, I don't know who she is, other than that she is very new to the forum, says she is not from Canada until someone corrects her because she is identified as being from Canada. I don't know if she identified herself as being from Canada and then a couple days later denied it, or if she was identified by her IP address. Either way it seems very strange to me.

What I do know is that the FBI hired people to go onto online forums and post about January 6th, I see no reason why they wouldn't also do that for this 2024 election. What I do know is if you wanted to get a persona where you would not be required to say that Jesus Christ is Lord, orthodox Jew would be a good one. How could you explain an orthodox Jew going onto a Christian forum? Saying your Christian sister in law asked you is a good one.

What I do know is that Judaizers secretly crept into the Galatians church to bring them into bondage and the apostle John told us to test the spirits.

Galatians 2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

She is not a Christian and she is not an American and yet she is trying to compel Christians on who to vote for in the 2024 election?

4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

This is not paranoia, this is the Bible and we now know this is what happened on January 6th. Believers are outnumbered in this country, that is not paranoia, we see that every day from Trans story hour for kids, parents being labeled as domestic terrorists because they got to a school board meeting, and presidents being indicted because they questioned the integrity of an election. The same people who told us the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. We are surrounded by liars and spies, not a conspiracy theory, simply the facts.

5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Whenever someone new comes to this forum people want to know who they are and what they are about. Why should she be treated any different?

I suppose anything is possible. I guess time will tell.

You think its possible I'm an fbi agent or ai??? Maybe perhaps It's more likely I just don't care to engage people who attack or insult me.
I really am not thinking on those same terms. I am saying that anything is possible knowing the capability of technology and how police are able to infiltrate any forum in existence. As to my feelings towards You, I think you're someone from another Site. And that Site is on high alert so a chatboxgp would be eliminated immediately. And You've been there for quite some time now.

Can you give me a brief interpretation of how Jews view Gen 1:1,2?

You must not have read my post, I already answered that question and made it clear I didn't know who you are. What I do feel I know is that if an Orthodox Jew comes on this site and doesn't want to talk about their views on the Bible they would not start a thread titled "Orthodox Jew answers a few questions". It is illogical to then say that people showing interest in your thread and asking you questions are "attacks".

So don't.

And sorry, my question has nothing to do with your quote to the other poster. I just clicked on your most recent post.

G-d is telling Isaiah he is not to "smarten up" the people of Judah and Israel. It does not say G-d blinded them, they blinded themselves.
Who else could blind them spiritually? Certainly not Isaiah. Of course, in one sense they did blind themselves by refusing to acknowledge Christ.

You still haven't shown me where it says G-d blinded them, "spiritually" or otherwise. Until you've demonstrated that point the rest of your question it moot.
