No, just answer the question I had: what day is the Sabbath? Saturday or Sunday?

Than answer: are you a Seventh Day Adventist? or maybe easier, in what building do you gather on the sabbath?
God answers this through His Word clearly...

He spoke it He wrote it and no man has authority to change one letter in His holy Word.

Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.

You seem to be using your words and not scripture, what does scripture say is the law that defines sin...

In the bible they use principles, when quoted from the Ten it means all -James 2:10-12 Mat 5:19-30 just like when one of the greates commandments is only quoted it means both.

What law is being quoted to define sin? The Ten Commandments which is why it is under the mercy seat in God's heavenly Temple Rev 11:19 and what the earthy temple was patterned after Hebrews 8:1-5

Romans 7:7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

I trust Jesus is a reliable and believable source? He quotes from the Ten Commandments stating if we break we are in fear of sin and judgement and said not to break or teach others to break the least of these and in doing so one would be least in heaven and if you compare that to His teachings on the Ten Commandments in Matthew 15in doing so one falls in a ditch, means off the narrow path. Here Jesus is applying the Ten Commandments to our thoughts and feelings as that is where sin starts.

Matthew 5:21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother [e]without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of [h]hell fire. 23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

Matthew 5:27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

This really can't be more clear! The Ten Commandments is what defines sin the law that came because of sin until the Seed would come is animal sacrifices as it always pointed forward to Christ because the blood of animals could not take away the sins of the world but the blood of Christ is PERFECT for cleaning us of all sin and unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 but many do not take Christ up on His free offer but prefer staying in darkness (sin) instead of coming to the light (truth), when Jesus came to free us of the bondage of sin and walk with Him in His righteousness. The Ten Commandments is called the law of liberty because one is free of sin and that bondage James 2:10-12

This is the law that ended, not what defines sin, God's eternal commandments that reflects His very character.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things [c]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, [d]sanctifies for the [e]purifying of the flesh, 14

Hebrews 10:1 For the law (animal sacrifices), having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once [a]purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. 5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:

“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’ ”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, [b]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been [c]sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

This truly cannot be any clearer!

Which is why God's people through faith and love to God keep His commandments until the very end of time! Rev 14:12 Rev 22:14 Rev 12:17 but sadly it is just a remnant although God's free gift is available to everyone.
Meant to bold this verse not v 13.

Hebrews 12: Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.
If the Sabbath is merely a day to you, you have missed what God has established in declaring it.
You are also missing, at least in part, the experience that a life in Christ offers.

When did I ever say that the Sabbath is merely just a day? The poster was asking what day is the Sabbath, I quoted God as He clearly answers this question. The Sabbath God said is on the seventh day is MUCH more than a day just the tree of knowledge was MUCH more than a tree- it shows our allegiance to God and who we worship the God of Creation, Eze 20:20 Exo 20:11 Rev 14:7, the only God that has the power to sanctify us Eze 20:12 instead of following my own rules over the commandments of God that Jesus said in doing so one heart is far from Him and worships in vain. Mat 15:3-9 Mar 7:7-8 so its way more than a day, it shows faith and trust in God to believe and do what He asks. James 1:22

It's about Jesus.
As far as the day, every day is holy and wholly unto the Lord. Colossians 2 may broaden your understanding.

Everything is about Jesus, but not every day is holy. Only God can make a day holy, not man and God only made the seventh day Sabbath holy from the very beginning. Gen 2:1-3 All other days are working/labor days or common days, not holy days Exodus 20:9

This is what God says when we keep God's holy day as a common day

Eze 22:26 Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

How do you think God feels when we exalt a day God made as a working day to do labor and man recreates that and assigns it to God has His holy day in lieu the day God deemed holy in His very own Words that He wrote, and He spoke. Exodus 20:8-11 Isa 58:13 There is no commandment for Sunday keeping, there is for Sabbath-keeping Exodus 20:8-11 and commandment is just that, not something that is optional. Sunday is not sacred by God, not sanctified, blessed or made holy by God, God only did so with the seventh day Sabbath. Exo 20:8-11 Gen 2:1-3 The only day in all of God's Word where God says this- this is the Lord thy God speaking here...and who this argument really is with.

Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.

Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

God does not change and the choice is up to us, do we follow man and their traditions or obey the commandments of God. Jesus in His own Words tells us which path to follow. Mark 7:7-8 Mat 15:3-9

Funny God said the Sabbath is His Sabbath, the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. Exodus 20:8-11, not the Sabbath of the Jews. We are in the NC and Jesus who is our example to follow kept the Sabbath Luke 4:16, John 15:10, His faithful followers kept the Sabbath according to the commandment Luke 23:56 and the apostles kept every Sabbath decades after the Cross Acts 13:42-44 Acts 18:4. The apostles taught to keep the commandments of God 1 Cor 7:19 Jesus taught to keep the commandments of God and not break the least of them Mat 5:19-30, Mat 15:3-9 Mat 7:7-8 and the Sabbath isn't going anywhere for God's people as it will continue in heaven for eternity thus saith the Lord Isa 66:22-23 Perhaps I am not the one that needs to join the New Covenant! The everlasting covenant. Eze 20:20 as the Sabbath points to God the Creator Exo 20:11 Rev 14:7 there are many gods of this world, but none that have the power to Create and Sanctify Exe 20:12

Rev 22:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
That is NOT what Rev 22:12 says. Here is the verse: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

As to your fixation on the commandments of God, chances are you are in violation of one or the other. You must either obey all of the Law of Moses (613 commandments), or you must admit that your beliefs are contrary to the New Testament. You have no clue about the New Covenant and the finished work of Christ.

Jesus lived under the old covenant. His ministry was primarily to the Jews also under the old covenant. What else would He teach?

Sorry, here is the correct reference

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Jesus quoted directly from the Ten to define the commandment of God Mat 15:3-9 and interchangeably calls it the Word of God. Mat 7:7-13

Jesus taught us how to live as He is our example, not just the example of Jews. 1 John 2:6 Heb 4:15 1 Peter 2:22-23

Do you really think Jesus came from heaven and taught only the Jews how to live and everyone else can just make up what they want?

No this is the great commission.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

No wonder the apostles kept every Sabbath decades after the cross Acts 13:42-44 Acts 18:4 and taught the commandments of God 1 Cor 7:19, the same ones Jesus taught. Mat 5:19-30 Mat 7:7-8 as they will be kept faithfully by God's people until the end of time Rev 14:12 Rev 22:14 although the devil goes to war with the commandment keeping people Rev 12:17 guess we need to decide which side of the battle we are on.

So be honest. Are you observing the Torah (the commandments of God) 100% or just 50%?

Thats between me and God as none of us will be judged on a sliding scale or based on what others do or don't do. I will be accountable before God and judged on the Ten Commandments James 2:10-12 Mat 5:19-30 just as the rest of us as we will all have to stand before Him. 2 Cor 5:10

My point was that Jesus' earthly ministry was directly to Jews. So the words He spoke reflected this. He wasn't teaching them what was entailed in the new covenant because it had yet to arrive.
The epistles reflect His teaching concerning the new covenant largely.
As the transition was being made practically from old to new, you still find many practices of the old. To do so now is to put new wine in old wineskins.

Sadly people get so caught up in this they miss they very teachings of Jesus and your response does not really address the scriptures in the post you are replying to. Jesus said heaven and earth would pass before one i or t from His law would pass therefore not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments as it affects our status in heaven quoting from the Ten Commandments Mat 5:17-30 is heaven Old Covenant? Sadly many believe in Jesus, but do not believe in His teachings. Jesus warns us about this Mat 7:21-23 His teachings aren't meant for "other people" they are meant for us just like all of scripture 2 Tim 3:16
