The Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office and is removed from the state's 2024 ballot over the 2021 U.S. Capitol attack, a court filing showed.

That provoked a strongly worded attack on the ruling from the Trump 2024 campaign:

"Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice."

The court found Trump engaged in insurrection and the former president's speech inciting the crowd that breached the Capitol was not protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees free speech, according to the court filing.

In its statement, Trump's campaign vowed a swift appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, expressing optimism it would speedily rule against an "un-American lawsuit.'

It said: :sick:emocrat Party leaders are in a state of paranoia over the growing, dominant lead President Trump has amassed in the polls. They have lost faith in the failed Biden presidency and are now doing everything they can to stop the American voters from throwing them out of office next November. The Colorado Supreme Court issued a completely flawed decision tonight and we will swiftly file an appeal to the United States Supreme Court and a concurrent request for a stay of this deeply undemocratic decision. We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits.”

I prefer:My bible. My family. Less government. Freedom. Individual choice. My GUNS. My mullet and my pickup truck.

I understand your side does not want that. However, I am going to vote towards a conservative voice to keep you out of my pocket book and off my back.:cool:

I really miss the good ole days. We could poke fun at each other for differing views and the next minute we were all in the boat fishing together and having fun. Those days are gone. People want a pound of flesh if there is a difference from their 'truth.'

This is really funny. Add up all the "lies" of Donald Trump and then add up all the lies of Joe Biden. Please do that for us and tell us who is the greatest liar in the world today. But be honest when you list Biden's outrageous DAILY lies.
