Why is there such a high rate of "second chance"women?

Well said Johnoble. I agree that it's not any one gender's fault at all. Everyone makes mistakes, that's unfortunately just that way it is in this world. We need to learn to be more forgiving, especially as Christians. If we are truly aware of how much we ourselves have been forgiven, we wouldn't point at other people and their faults nearly so much.
EXACTLY! So let's stop judging the poor beer tub girls.

Almost, widows go into a separate category.

But otherwise? Amen.

Sure, fine. But besides your battle of the sexes with the obligatory entrance of the standard "nice guy" all of this still doesn't change something. Even with the insistance that it is wrong to hold to any moral standard as that is judging, nobody is perfect, and hence that is all un-christian, no one can tell me exactly why I should feel obligated to a single mom at the church as opposed to a party girl at the bar.

We sometimes need to be slapped with a puppy right? That's why I always have a puppy in my pocket, in case I forget to be light-hearted.:)

Again persecuted its your choice, but if your looking for a relationship it shouldnt be about obligation but about how you feel about the person.. its not about being obligated, its about not automatically saying there not for me cos there a single mom , just the same as i wouldnt say about a guy i dont want to know you cos youve had past relationships and have a kid.

Would you want someone to judge you on your past.. its not about holding moral standards for yourself thats great to have that of course but its about who that person is now. i myself know some awesome single mums as friends.. i am not saying anything about obligation or that you have to go for a relationship wit a single mum, but you might miss out on an awesome person with that attude
