In plain English, I understand theosis to be a mystery in regards to who goes to Heaven or Hell. From this point of view here and now, me, a mere mortal cannot say who goes to Heaven and Hell.
Does this mean that I believe in Universalism as the video might suggest?
No, I don’t. I simply cannot judge who goes to Heaven or Hell because I’m not God.
However, if I was God, as the video asks in the beginning, then I would immediately know what you’re all thinking, what all the world is thinking, what everything has thought in the past or in the future [if the concept of time exists] and I would know all the hairs on your back as the Bible says. This means that I would know your innermost spirit and thoughts, your true selves which you may hide from others or even yourselves. Based on that I would make a judgment of who to keep or exclude.
Because honestly I would be very surprised to find out if Hitler made it to Heaven .
I expect fair justice from God but I don’t have all the cards that He has.
So that would be my process if I was God and I created beings in my image, gave them free will, and waited to see who would accept me or reject me.
As far as the church question goes, I agree with your text there ”okay but what church?”.
But this isn’t even a good question on the second part of the video because he is implying that we are Gods.
We are not though because we don’t have the Omniscience that I mentioned above.
So, going back to theosis, our best bet here and now, is the infinite process of becoming more and more like God and Jesus Christ and having peace and comfort in the now and the beauty that is revealed to us by this teaching.

Because Jesus SAID SO. There is a simple requirement for eternal salvation, those who meet that requirement will receive salvaiton, those who don't, don't.
Romans, Chapter 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

I'm not esteemed. You get my 10 cents worth anyway. If everyone gets to heaven, Jesus died for nothing. The Bible is irrelevant and living a righteous life pointless.
What is overlooked in the whole debate about salvation is that sinners won't want to be in heaven. The first thing Adam & Eve did when they sinned was to hide from God. Our God is a consuming fire as well as the God who forgives and who saves. Mankind is born dead in trespass and sin. There are no dead people in heaven.
