If I was to go back I wonder if I'll have to do basic all over again. Don't feel like doing that again. As far as restlessness do something that spikes your adrenaline like drive fast climb a cliff or go skiing whatever you enjoy
Being restless even while resting shows how difficult it is "enter that rest" which, if you ask me, is essential to maintaining a 'sound mind' during these times. The Greek word for 'sound mind' comes from a verb meaning "to be made safe," which might explain your inclination to return to the craziest ideas that I can think of. 
It has taken me a while but i've "pinned it down" to gratitude which keeps me in the Now.
Maybe going back to service is what God may want for you and this is why your restlessness doesn't go away? God always needs people who are willing to go to new places and meet new people so that you can bless them and or they bless you.
Why on earth would you want to reenlist at a time like this. You aren't American are you?

I’m an officer so it’s not technically reenlisting. I have already gone back to the service a couple of times before.

There's obviously a major force from China and other nations inside your Texas borders waiting for orders from their command.
Strategic infrastructure has already been peppered by black rock and your commander in chief. Red Dawn already started in Europe although it's different from the movie script which is entertaining, but way off the writer's prediction. I hope slow Joe doesn't put you in harms way.

I'm not a Texan, but my heart goes out to my Texas neighbors.
I don't think anyone's ready to mess with Texas yet, but the voter rolls are growing in Northern cities and states. It's part of the globalists agenda and looks like it's a matter of time for their Great Reset.
I doubt if the Navy's Admiral's are recruiting the Village People like this 4 Star Admiral.
