We all need a personal testimony of God appearing to us
Genesis 48:3 And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, 4 And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
This testimony is a controlling vision which becomes a legacy to his family.

This defileth a man
Matthew 15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
The context of what is defiling a man is teaching them that they do not need to keep the commandments of God.

Let them alone
Matthew 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
They were offended when they heard the Lord say that teaching people to keep their traditions rather than the word of God defiles a man.
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
The word of God is a seed. If you are teaching a tradition whereby we don't need to keep the word of God you are a plant that the heavenly father has not planted. The result is that you will be rooted up. All those false religions, counterfeits, regardless of how close to the real thing they appear, they will be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
You don't need to debate endlessly with these blind leaders. He spoke a word that they heard saying that teaching their tradition was defiling them, and then he moved on. Our responsibility is to warn sinners of their sins. We are not responsible for how they receive that warning or act on that warning. There is a totally false concern with the gospel that it is about how many people get saved, that is false. We are witnesses. In a trial the witness is not the jury, he is not responsible for how they decide, he is only responsible to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. You get credit every time you witness. Some will get saved, some will reject, some will consider, some will mock, ridicule and try and debate. But when it comes to the judgement everyone heard your witness, so you have done your job.
Now Jesus says "let them alone" not "leave them alone". If someone rejects you and wants nothing to with you, then "let them alone". It is their decision, not yours.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
Many of us, we read these verses about our sins and the Lord's judgement, and get right with the Lord and we start worrying about little things like did we wash our hands.
But the Lord is talking about evil thoughts. There are people in their job or daily life that are thinking about how to scam others. They will justify this, as though the fault is not with them for scheming but it with the person who is foolish enough to be scammed.
The priests had figured out how to scam people. Your retirement was your children, they were responsible to take care of you. There were no pensions or Social security. So many could not give money to the synagogue because they had a big responsibility to care for their parents. So the priests told them that if you give to the synagogue you can count that as what you were supposed to give to your parents.
Others will use murder. Think of Ahab and Jezebel, the guy wanted a vineyard, the owner wouldn't sell, so they accused him of blasphemy, stoned him to death without a trial, and then stole his vineyard.
The same with adulteries and fornications, the priests will actually teach that as long as you prayed a prayer twenty years ago you will go to heaven regardless of the sins you are committing in your personal life.
Think about thefts, in the movie about the Godfather we learn that the mafia uses the Catholic church as a Public Relations firm to "wash" their public image. They give money that is stolen to the church and the church holds them up as righteous people. Imagine how some would feel, the Mafia extorted that money from your business, threatening to burn it to the ground if you don't pay it, then in turn give some to the Catholic church and now these thugs get to pretend to be all righteous and god fearing.
False witness, coming up with a lie in order to get someone else in trouble. The term "lie" is very general, saying your wife looks nice in that dress is not what the Lord is talking about. False witness is helping someone frame someone else for a crime. Think of how the KKK worked in the South, they would kill some people. Then the Sheriff who was also in the KKK would blame others for the crime, frame them with false witnesses, and in this way they "kill two birds with one stone". This is what the story about Rubin Hurricane Carter was about.
Blasphemies. We have seen these explode recently. This is particularly true of Hollywood. They have no problem blaspheming Jesus and Christians but would never do that to Allah or Islam. There was a comedian talking about the vaccine, how she got every shot and nothing happened to her. This had nothing to do with Jesus or the Bible but she decided to just throw in a little blasphemy saying that "Jesus loved her the best" and then she collapsed, almost dying.
My dad grew up as a Navy brat, he swore a lot, but the one Bible verse that all of his children can recite by memory, no problem because he said this all the time: "Jesus wept". I don't know why he said that, but a sin like that can leave a generational curse. So I confess to the Lord that this was sinful, I pray that the Lord's blood would break any generational curse from my father or grandfather's cursing. I know there were other sins too that I heard of concerning my grandmother, and so I pray that the Lord's blood would wash away any of those curses as well. A generational curse can last for three or four generations. Therefore in addition to receiving the Lord's blood to forgive your sins you should also pray over the sins of your parents, grandparents and great grandparents.

We are witnesses, not salesmen.
When I first started preaching the gospel I thought I was a failure because of how few people got saved. But then I learned we aren't salesmen, we aren't judged based on how many get saved, we are witnesses. A witness is required to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God. If you do that, then you have done your job. What the jury and judge do with that is not your concern.

How does Jacob know this?
49 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
How does Jacob know this? People have the wrong understanding concerning prophecy.
3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
Jacob knew Reuben's sin, his shortcoming, his lack of control. You cannot excel if you are unstable and lack self control. If I have an apple seed I know what I will get if I plant this seed. This is the issue with Reuben. Suppose your father, or grandfather or great grandfather had this issue. You can have a generational curse that will last for four generations. However, you can pray, confess, repent, and plead the blood of Jesus to break this curse.
5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. 6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. 7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
These two are fierce, cruel, and full of wrath. What do you do with someone like this? Divide them and scatter them. Do you understand, you reap what you sow. Jacob sees what they are sowing, so he knows what they will be reaping. These two represent the military and the priesthood. What do we do with our military bases? We scatter them all over the country and all over the world. The same thing with our priests. Everyone of us has a problem with our anger, if you do not deal with it you too will be scattered. Pray that the Lord will fill you, that the Lord will replace your anger with His love.
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. 9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. 11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
So this is strange, we see that Judah will be praised, but why? Does he have self control? Does he control his anger? No, it is because he washed his garments in the Lord's blood. When you are worshipping and praising the Lord, then His blood is like wine and like milk. Jesus is the vine, binding your colt unto the vine, in other words he attaches himself to the vine tree, Jesus Christ and the Church. How often do we hear those "binding the enemy". How about binding your colt to the vine. Your colt takes you where you want to go, with Reuben that was to pursue his lusts, with Simeon and Levi that was to satisfy their anger and fierce wrath. So instead of focusing on "the enemy" how about focusing on your colt, bind it to the vine.
Do you understand, prophecy is not about telling you what will happen in two years, it is about identifying the issue that you need to deal with in your life, the issue that will be your undoing, and about pointing out how to deal with it. How to wash your garments and how to feed your soul.

**Jacob's Knowledge of Future Events:**
In the example of Jacob blessing his sons in Genesis 49, Calvin suggests that Jacob's ability to foresee their future was not merely based on human wisdom or observation but was a result of divine revelation. Calvin believed that God had chosen Jacob as a prophet to communicate His plans and purposes for his descendants.

A Children's Story
I am reminded of this picture book I once read, a children's story. There was this king with a castle and he could jump from the ground to the top of the castle in a single bound. He told this little boy that in order to be his heir you had to be able to jump from the bottom to the top of the castle. So the boy goes home and begins to practice. He puts a block down and jumps up on it. Then he stacks two and then three. It was obvious to those of us looking on and reading this that he would never be able to train to jump from the bottom to the top. But then his little dog jumps up onto one block and from there onto the second and from there onto the third. So the boy goes back to the king and he jumps from one step to the next all the way up the stairs to the top of the castle and so he jumped from the bottom to the top. Then the king congratulated him.
This is why I was reminded of that. I consider myself a very poor evangelists, if Billy Graham was a five talented Evangelist I am a one talented evangelist. He preached to tens of thousands of people. But then I realized for the last two years I have been spending a few hours each month speaking to people and handing out Bibles with the Gideons. On average I would say we distribute 500 NT's a month. So over the last two years that is 12,000 people we have given NT's to. But for everyone who takes one we probably have two that don't. So that is 36,000 people that I with a couple of brothers have preached to. In addition I went to Portland for a week long blitz where we distributed 15,000 NT's and Bibles. Altogether that means I and a small team of brothers have preached to around 91,000 people in the last two years.
This reminds me of my cousins funeral. He was a beloved member of the community and when he died the church was packed with people, it was standing room only, and that probably meant over a thousand people. This was a boisterous crowd too because he had been very active in raising money for the lacrosse team, so all the lacrosse players were there too. The funeral ended with his family walking out to the song "Go tell it on the Mountain" which was his favorite song. Imagine being welcomed into heaven by a crowd of people that you led to the Lord. I had a dream once of something very similar to that.

Psalm 35:4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Let's be realistic, there are those behind the scenes in America, in the WHO, in the WEF, in Davos, that are devising your hurt and my hurt. Consider the lawfare they have used against Trump and Mike Lindell, may they be confounded and put to shame, may they be turned back and brought to confusion.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.
Let the wind scatter them, let the angel of the Lord chase them.
6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.
Amen Lord, they tried to make our way dark and slippery, this is righteous judgement. You said as you have done it will be done to you. I pray this word would apply to all those devising our hurt.

Let's be realistic, there are those behind the scenes in America, in the WHO, in the WEF, in Davos, that are devising your hurt and my hurt. Consider the lawfare they have used against Trump and Mike Lindell, may they be confounded and put to shame, may they be turned back and brought to confusion.

Can you imagine, an 80 year old shepherd from the desert walks in and says hey, I'm here to bring you out of the the affliction of Egypt.
18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.
Why are they going to hearken to his voice? Who is he?
19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

Can you imagine how absurd this must have sounded? No one can make this stuff up because no one would believe it. We do have signs from the heavens, the Bible says the heavenly bodies were put there for signs, for appointed times. So we should understand how to read these signs.

So if Jesus being crucified was the end of your day, if that is when the sun went down on your day, then know that tomorrow, in the millennial kingdom you will have fair weather. These people were willing to crucify Jesus, do you think they have any trouble killing other innocent people? Do you know why people have so much difficulty believing the vaccine is some kind of kill shot? They can't understand why anyone would want them dead, they are good people, they don't hurt anyone, they pay their taxes, they are too important to kill. Do you realize these people who are in power are the same ones that crucified Jesus? Wake up, they will do whatever it takes to hold onto power.

The spirit was poured out and from that point they began to preach for repentance. 40 jubilees later, or 2,000 years later everything will be destroyed. To emphasize this point 40 years later the temple was destroyed and that was 40 years to the day, with the temple torn down on the 9th of Av.
The Jews were the first ones to experience foul weather, but the "Romans" (nations) will have our turn as well.
However, the siege of Jerusalem began around the same time they arrested Jesus. I believe that was 30AD (though experts say it could have been as late as 33AD). You have seven shemitahs and then the next year is the year of Jubilee. So if you take 40x49 you get 1960 years, add that to 30 and you get 1990. 1989 ended with the collapse of the USSR and everyone said that they would have peace and security. The 40 years beginning in 1990 are like one giant Jubilee year, concluding with 2030. Another way to look at this is that in 70AD the temple and Jerusalem were destroyed, add 1960 years to that and in 2030 it will be the world's turn with Armageddon.
