I recently found Christian Chat group on Discord. To pity, there aren't many members there, and it looks semi-dead. Thought, I would share it, in case someone is interested to join and bring life to the group.

Oh I'm curious because I use discord

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just make a group on Telegram which each one of us could join and enjoy chatting with one another, instead of unending problems with the Christian Chat app and lack of funds?!

Many of my CC friends don't use Skype anymore. Some use Messenger still, while others moved to other platforms, such as Instagram, or Telegram, or Google Chat.

Did the one you found seem to be related to this site? I wouldn't expect it because of the generic name, but it could be.

There are many Christian communities on Discord. I'm a member of several of them, but I don't usually chat much there.

I've gone through so many instant messaging programs... ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Skype, and then Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, and so on. I feels a bit sad sometimes to log in, like wandering through an abandoned city.

Yes, it is sad... Same here. Some still communicate via Messenger and Telegram for now.

I'd find it likely that at least one reason he doesn't use an outside source is those users are not registered to This site. Thereby lowering the number of registered users.
Also losing access to chat logs. The records kept on this site, and the previous chats, aided in banning people, catching trolls, scams or even illegal activities.
Some people may not feel comfortable going off site, as well. Or may be unhappy to join CC only to realize they have to join a separate site in order to chat.
Just a few considerations I've thought of as to why he may choose not to go elsewhere for chats.
