Zone,

As an amillennialist, what revelation, vision or future event that was given to John, in the book of Revelation, has come to past or been fulfilled by Christ in the church or in the church age? Do you know, have you seen or heard, or has it been recorded and can you state as actual fact, using your vast resources, what these things are that have come to past and been fulfilled? After you have done that, can you identify any of these same scriptures that relate to Israel or the Jews and explain what their role is in this book of Revelation, if any? AND, are there any OT prophecies that relate or predict what Israel's and the Jews participation may be in this book of Revelation concerning what has come to pass and been fulfilled and that which has not come to oass or been fullfilled? Take all the time you need and if you need to do some additional research or homework, then do so.

I would ask this of any believer that is an amillennialist or otherwise to do the same.
hi Red.
if you really want to know, do the work like i did.
its very rewarding, and you're working directly with the Holy Spirit as you read.

When Paul preached in Berea, the Bereans were more ready to hear. Why? Because of conviction that God had put in their heart. What Paul did was preach from the scriptures that they had and revealed Christ to them and some believed and not just a few. They were not more ready to question what Paul preached but were more noble in receiving what he preached from the word. Many, who had read these scriptures over and over, never saw in the scripture what Paul revealed to them concerning Christ. So, they went and searched the scriptures to see the same truth concerning Christ that Paul preached to them and when they did many more believed and were being saved. The more they searched the scripture the more Christ was revealed to them.

I get nothing out of seeing the church pass through the great tribulation. There is no mercy, no grace, no edification, no comfort, no peace to be called unto and I don't see Christ in it either. Those that want to pass through the great tribulation have a persecution and martyr's complex and not an edification complex in their soul. Every believer that has been saved through the blood of Christ since the inception of the church has wanted Christ to come in their life time. I don't think that points to believers having any doctrine in their soul that teaches them that they must pass through a great time of tribulation. If you have a problem with that, then you have a problem with grace and the plan of God and the mystery of Christ and the church.

Prov 16:1-4 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. 4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Red, you have to look into the book of revelation for most of that. What edification was there for the christian human candles in the first century
and the rest of the martyrs then and through history? The martyr complex statement isnt a fair one.

You and others love to clone people with that one. How can a dead man that's crucified with Christ be scared or afraid of anything? 'Deadman' don't react because they are dead and furthermore their life is 'hid' with Christ in God (Col 3:3). Death is a promotion and it is precious in the sight of God (Ps 116:15), because, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2Cor 5:8). Don't you like those scriptures? Those that have the Spirit love those scriptures and they hide them in their heart and they cherish them and embrace them because they are spirit and life (Jn 6:63).

God's not going to put us through the great tribulation because He wants us home with Him and there is nothing you or anyone can do about it. You and Zone and the others can keep preaching what you do but it won't change a thing for those that have been redeemed by the blood of Christ and have been called into the kingdom of God's dear Son (Col 1:13). Have you? I hope? Schofield's is there and he's going to rise first from the grave and shall be caught up together with the living saints in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and ever be with the Lord. Then at the end of the great tribulation Jesus Christ is coming back for the second time and we will already have our glorified bodies full of God's light.

That's something to jump up and down about and thank God for with ever cell of your body because that's the gospel and the resurrection of the saints that make up the church.

Their edification, whoever they were, was a promotion into the kingdom of God's dear Son, by being absent from their body and present with the Lord (2Cor 5:8). You don't need to go though the great tribulation for that, all you need to do is live a godly life and preach Christ and Him crucified and see what kind of promotion God blesses you with.

My point is this, get ready for your promotion. :)
