I need the help of Jesus Christ. The Lord is CONSTANTLY showing me where my heart is not right. I don't want to suppress the conviction, because that will lead to pride. I will take every word and every thought captive to his words and his thoughts. I consider myself a liar as he is TOO HOLY FOR ME!! Let the Lord guide my steps!!

Where is your treasure?

If the Lord came to you and told you that he wanted you to give away all of your things, your house and your well-being, and take on the form of a poor man, to give him glory, what would you do? Would you do it? Or might you say, ''This is not God telling me this, because he wants us to be wealthy.''

If the Lord said to leave your country and move somewhere, ''would you go?''

What is your greatest treasure? Is it your wife? Your children? Your family?

It is a very hard thing to follow Jesus. For his sake one is hated. It is because the world does not know him.

It is not because of sacrifice that one is accepted, do not get it wrong. He doesn't need those things, but he does require your whole life.

Abraham was tested in this. He was asked to give up his only son as a sacrifice. And in his obedience, he proved he feared God.

You see it?? This is what it means to forsake this world. And it is good. It is good because this world is growing hostile against God, and if we associate with the ideals of it, we might find that we have betrayed the living God. I am dying daily also. Everything of the old me is being put off, so that the new can be put IN.

Where is your heart?

May Jesus bless you.

Shekaniah, you are one of the sharpest I see. I see you welcoming people all the time. Charity is what keeps us sharp, not preaching, but OBEYING Jesus Christ in love and care for one another.

When you show love, and deep care for others, you show the love of God, you even demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is what the kingdom is all about.

There is a kingdom that ruled in the hearts of men before Jesus. Jesus came to rule in the hearts of men by his kingdom. A person who knows love knows more about the kingdom than someone who simply preaches.

The more you grow in the love that Jesus teaches, the more you become shaped into his image.

May Jesus bless you.
