You feel that way, and rightly so, because you are saved. What about the guy being cast into hell. Do you think he would that God had compelled his salvation?
That is why our witness is so very important. We are used by God to further His salvation to mankind.

And the answer to your question is in the post you responded to. And based on Gods character and nature, He is going to give each individual their perfect chance/scenario to accept or reject His offer of salvation.......We are Without excuse.

You don't understand what "will" is biblically, Will is desire, not the ability to perform one's desires. Romans 7:14-23 makes this quite clear. We are free to desire, and we are accountable for sins of the heart, and not just sins of the heart that we manage to perform.
KJV Dictionary Definition: will

First part ends by saying: source

Will is often quite a different thing from desire.

So much for your understanding .

So you believe a chance for salvation is better than a certain salvation?
You believe some saved is better than all saved?

It is equal opportunity, equal privilege for ALL. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

Not what I asked. But I'm not sure that's true. I have another question, but don't want to ask until I actually get the first question answered.

Do you believe it is better that some get saved, or all get saved?

Well, you should be sure. He answers your question in His word. He desires that all be saved. So do I...........but we know that there are those who reject Him.

This is Christianity 101. Basic bible doctrine.

That's a silly question. what does God have to say about this? Check your Bible.
That's a novel idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hmmmm. Wait. Kroogz opinion isn't found in the Bible.
But you are welcome to answer as well.

It's not my opinion Cameron. Acts 16:31 clearly lays it out.

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

And the same goes for everyone in his house............Equal opportunity, Equal privilege.

That doesn't answer the question. I asked you if you thought it was better that some get saved or all get saved? We both know that God could secure the salvation of every man, woman, and child ever conceived. We also know that this is not the case. We also know that not everyone even in our time hears the gospel. But I'm not asking about that. I'm asking do you, personally, believe that it is better for some to be saved or all to be saved?

Then why don't all get saved if it is God's desire and He has the ability to ensure that all are saved?

Again, basic bible doctrine. Christianity 101.

Of course He has the ability to save everyone. But He cannot. The Lord Jesus Christ propitiated the Father. And the justice of God for the payment of sins was satisfied. The only way to be justified is to go through the justice of God......faith alone in Christ alone. This is Grace/mercy.

It is the will of God that all that believe in His Son are saved so, apparently, God doesn't desire those that reject His Son to be saved. And since scripture says that God desires all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth... Would you agree that God equates being saved with, notwithstanding that the knowledge of the truth is inherent in salvation but, 'coming' to Him that is the Truth, and the Life is as much part of His desire, if free will is indeed a thing that God values as so significant to Him that He does not will to eliminate it absolutely (except from those that refuse to come to the knowledge of the truth, via hell)?

Because the Lord want you to choose life, many reject Christ unfortunately. All hangs on the choice we make. we have free will to choose good or evil.

If you keep reading you will see these people are homosexuals, lesbians and such. But you think this is about Christians? Yeah, I think there's nothing more to say here.

26. Therefore God handed them over to disgraceful diseases*, and their females changed their natural need and became accustomed to that which is unnatural.
27. And again also their males in this way abandoned the natural need for females, and they were ravished with desire one for another, even male for male, and committed disgrace and received a right reward in their persons for their error.

But this describes Christians to you?
You fail to understand, just how filthy a child of God can be, when they are walking in the flesh, in which we all practice, at times, because for our lust of worldly things.

Isaiah 64:6 - But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy (Strong's concordance= menstrual) rags, and we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Psalms 34:18 - The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken spirit, and such as be of a contrite (crushed, destruction) Spirit.

Psalms 51:17 - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart.

Isaiah 57:15 - For thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy, I dwell in the high and holy place. With him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 66:2 - But to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

If the scriptures do not harmonize, you are not understanding the truths of the doctrine that Jesus taught.

I don't really understand this answer. He has the ability but cannot seems opposite. At any rate, thanks for sharing. Grace and peace.
