Why do you find that so ridiculous? Jesus will rule the nations with a rod of iron. Any disputes that arise between nations, during the 1000 years, Jesus will settle and give the resolution for them to abide by.

Jesus will not rule with a sword, but a rod of iron. It is the nations which will beat their swords into plowshares.
