So what is the ONLY way we will be seen in the eyes of God as righteous and without sin? Through our best efforts to obey the commandments or through faith in Christ? (Romans 4:5-6; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9)
Only Christ is righteous, only He can deem one righteous, if Christ resides in us, we would not be living like the lost who is hostile to God’s law, we would be keeping God’s law through His power though love and faith. John 14:15-18 Rom 3:31 Rev 14:12 it requires our cooperation. Our salvation is from sin Mat 1:21 though Jesus everything is possible including overcoming sin.

This is a saved person:

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

So according to you it's a combination of what Christ DID + what we DO that saves us?

No, Christ alone saves by grace that is His gift to give or not give through faith. The saved lived differently than the lost. Rom 8:7-8 1 John 3:4, Rom 3:18-20 Rev 22:15 Rev 22:14 Rev 22:14 Rev 12:17, John 14:15-18 Exo 20:6

Of course the saved live differently than the lost. The saved are new creations in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Yet after reading through all of your posts you still speak with a forked tongue.

No, not a forged tongue, what scripture teaches.

If we are a new creation, we would not be hostile to God’s law and arguing against keeping it, because it would be residing in us through Jesus Christ. John 14:15-18

I didn't write or speak the Words of the Sabbath commandment, that is something that proceeded directly from the mouth of God and written by His own finger. Exo 32:16 Exo 31:18 Exo 20 I am just an advocate that we should live by His every Word and to teach others the commandments as Jesus told us to in Mat 5:19.

There comes a time to put away the pearls and leave it in God's hands that those we share the scripture with will seek God's Truth and realize all of God's commandments are Truth even the one commandment that is holy and blessed by God and the one God said Remember and reveals the Author of His holy law and the God of all heaven and earth Exo 20:11, and the same God of Judgment. Rev 14:7

I wish you well in your journey.

God bless.

I guess we both will find out soon enough. Only He knows, He said to live by His every Word- if you can point out one thus saith the Lord that says we don't have to keep God's Sabbath? He blessed and only He can reverse Num 23:20

God is the one writing His holy law that judges all man. He didn't leave it up to man to write it, He personally did so. He wrote it out so plainly even an 8 year old could understand. No man has the authority to remove anything from God's law Deut 4:2 Mat 5:18. Please find the scripture where God says we don't have to keep the Sabbath commandment. All the thus saith the Lords on the Sabbath is for us to keep and not profane.

When you can find the scripture from God that says His Sabbath commandment has been abrogated, let me know. Until then for me, I am going to live by His every Word.

The law was ratified with the blood of animals and was sprinkled on the people and so they were bound by it unto death. Likewise, The Blood of Christ ratifies the new covenant, which is exponentially more precious than the law ratified by the blood of bulls and goats. If you can see no difference between them, then you have seriously unappreciated the tremendous significance of this distinction.

Romans 3
Righteousness through Faith in Christ
(Philippians 3:1–11)

21But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. 22And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

25God presented Him as the atoning sacrificei through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. 26He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus.

27Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of works? No, but on that of faith. 28For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

29Is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law.

How do we 'uphold' the law if we do not apply the law to Gentiles, since God is the God of Gentiles too?
Well, the circumcised fall as short as the uncircumcised and God "will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith." (please note that this does not read, nor is to be read, "by that same law")

We should want to have a relationship with Jesus, but being obedient to Him and His commandments is at the core of the relationship.
No, obedience to Jesus and His commandments is NOT at the core of the relationship.

Knowing and loving God is at the core of the relationship. Being willing and obedient happens automatically effortlessly by just simply knowing and loving Him.

You named yourself “SabbathBlessing.” Do you understand how to REST at Jesus’ feet like Mary or do you busy yourself with good works like Martha and miss the Blessing from The Lord of the Sabbath?

There is a continual abiding Sabbath Rest for True Believers. They simply produce fruit while abiding in the vine but, apart from the vine I can do nothing.

Good works is God working through me, He’s doing the good work - I just simply chose to be a willing vessel.

No, obedience to Jesus and His commandments is NOT at the core of the relationship.
The statement "No, obedience to Jesus and His commandments is NOT at the core of the relationship" contradicts the biblical perspective. The Bible indeed links obedience to Jesus' commands with a healthy and growing relationship with Him. For instance, Jesus himself states that those who love Him will keep His commandments, and God will love them back (John 14:21, 23)

. Furthermore, the Bible teaches that obedience to God's laws, particularly the two great commandments to love God and love others, is central to the Christian life (Mark 12:28-31)

. Therefore, while obedience is not the sole basis of salvation, it plays a significant role in maintaining and strengthening the relationship between believers and God.

Law of Christ
According to the Bible, the law of Christ is centered around the two greatest commandments: to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:28-31)

. Although the term "law of Christ" is not explicitly defined in the Bible, it is generally understood to mean focusing on loving God and loving others rather than attempting to observe the hundreds of individual commandments found in the Old Testament Law

Law of the Spirit of Life
The concept of the law of the Spirit of life is described in Romans 8:2, stating that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death

. This passage emphasizes that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to overcome sin and live in accordance with God's will. To walk in the Spirit is to be guided by the Holy Spirit, leading to a life characterized by love, peace, and holiness

In summary, the law of Christ focuses on loving God and loving others, whereas the law of the Spirit of life refers to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to enable believers to live in accordance with God's will and overcome sin. Both concepts are integral parts of the Christian life and teachings.

The Bible does not command Christians to follow Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath. The New Testament makes it clear that Sabbath-keeping is a matter of spiritual freedom, not a command from God

. In Colossians 2:16-17, the apostle Paul declares, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” Similarly, Romans 14:5 states, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” These Scriptures make it clear that, for the Christian, Sabbath-keeping is a matter of spiritual freedom, not a command from God

. However, Christians are called to follow the law of Christ, which is centered around the two greatest commandments: to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:28-31)

While it is God doing the good works, we still have to cooperate with Him. He is the one who changes us from the inside out when we submit to do His will. God's will for us is that we do not sin 1 John 2:1 Psa 40:8 which is breaking God's commandments 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 and that separates us from God Isa 59:2 so we can't have Jesus residing in us if we are not submitting to His will. God's law shows us our sins Rom 3:20 and is a good way we can test ourselves to see if we are in the faith. Those with faith uphold the law Rom 3:1 Rev 14:12

If Jesus was in us, we would be doing good works and keeping His commandments John 14:15-18, including the Sabbath commandment Exo 20:8-11 like Mary who rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. Luke 23:56

Jesus promises blessing of the Sabbath if we keep it and not profane it. Many confuse Christ rest with the Sabbath rest and while it is a smooth doctrine that has many believe we can profane God's Sabbath and receive His rest, its a deceiving doctrine. In Christ rest there is no rebellion to Him or His commandments there is only peace Isa 48:18

I'm not sure if you read and study God's Word as I don't see scriptures in your posts, but rebellion and disobedience Heb 4:6 specifically to the Sabbath caused many of the Israelites to not enter their rest into Canaan Eze 20:13 Ezo 20:21 we are told not to follow their path of disobedience to enter our rest in Christ Heb 4:11 To enter Christ rest we also cease from our works as God did on the seventh day. Heb 4:10, Heb 4:4

This is what Christ in His own Words says about the blessing of the Sabbath. He is Lord of the Sabbath said it was made for us and knows how we should be keeping and tells us to live by every Word that proceeds from His mouth Mat 4:4

Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

6 “Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—

Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant

Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord
honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,

14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

God personally wrote this.

Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The summary, love to God and love to man does not delete the details. Romans 13:9 1 John 5:3 Exo 20

Regarding Colossians 2:16 you need to go to Col2:14 which provides the context. God alone wrote and spoke the Sabbath commandment; it is part of His covenant that came in a unit of Ten. Jesus taught on this same covenant telling us not to break the least of these commandments Mat 5:19 and not one dot or tittle could be changed from God's law Mat 5:18 as no one is above God and its what man will be judged by breaking one we break them all. James 2:10-12 We are told Paul is hard to understand and many misuse his writing to their own destruction. 2 Peter 3:16 Paul cannot reverse God's blessing Num 23:20 so please find one thus saith the Lord that says we do not need to keep the Sabbath commandment. Jesus told us to live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God Mat 4:4 Jesus said the Sabbath was made for us and not once did He say we can profane the Sabbath. He kept the Sabbath faithfully as did His diciples and Jesus is our example to follow 1 John 2:6

Here's a study on Col 2:14-17 there's lots more to it and would be happy share if you want..... All of God's commandments are Truth Psa 119:151 and righteous Psa 119:172 so therefore morally to be kept by His faithful servants.

The context to Col 2:16 is in Col 2:14 KJV and v17

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

So we know this from Colossians 2:14:
1. They are handwritten
2. They are ordinances
3. They are contrary.

Does this fit the Sabbath commandment in any way?
1. The Sabbath was finger-written by God (not by hand) Exo 31:18 Exo 32:16
2. The Sabbath is a commandment of God (not an ordinance). Exodus 20, Exodus 34:28 Deut 4:13 Exo 20:8-11 Exo 20:6
3. God said the Sabbath is holy and blessed (not cursed and contrary) Exodus 20:8-11 Genesis 2:1-3
Note: once God blesses something man cannot reverse it Num 23:20, so one would need a thus saith the Lord to do away with God's holy Sabbath day, which does not exist. There is another safeguard in scripture how many twist the words of Paul 2 Peter 3:16 and Paul does not have authority to take away one of God's commandments.

There are more than one Sabbath in scripture but only one weekly Sabbath that is a commandment of God blessed and made holy by God, written by His very own finger..

So what is this verse referring to:

Deuteronomy 31:24 So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: 26 “Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you;

The book that contained the ordinances were outside the ark- all of the Ten Commandments, which includes the Sabbath commandment are inside the ark.

Colossians 2:17 gives us more insight...

Col 2:17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

Lets go to Hebrews 10 as it explains it....

Hebrews10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. 5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:

“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’ ”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, [b]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been [c]sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all

1 Cor 5:7 For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Sin is the transgression of God's law 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Jesus didn't die so we can continue in sin, but to continue living in His grace through faith, keeping His commandments by love 1 John 5:3 Romans 3:31

2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;

You remain on the old covenant plantation of law, steeped in legalism, and cannot seem to make the transition into the new covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:13) I can see that the SDA church has really done a number on you. :(

Hebrews 3:8-10 says, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years. Therefore, I was angry with that generation, and said, 'They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.' Not descriptive of genuine believers.

Verses 18-19 - And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So, we see that they could not enter in because of UNBELIEF. That is the heart of the issue.

*Jude 1:5 - Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people (the Israelites) out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. Did you see that? DID NOT BELIEVE.

Ezekiel 20:13 reads - Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. (plural) Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them. The heart of the issue here is not exclusively related to defiling God's Sabbaths (plural) but rebellion and disobedience in general, which was a manifestation of their UNBELIEF.

In regard to Hebrews 4:4-11, believers find their 'sabbatismos' rest in Christ in contrast with keeping the weekly sabbath day under the law.

As I have already explained to you numerous times before, in regard to Isaiah 56:2-7, foreigners were to "join themselves to the Lord;" and "love the name of the Lord;" and "be his servants;" and "take hold of God's covenant." The OLD COVENANT. But to do this they had to be circumcised, for God said: “No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the sons of Israel, shall enter My sanctuary." (Ezekiel 44:9) When Gentiles thus "joined themselves to the Lord" they ceased being Gentiles and became proselytes to the Jewish religion. They kept the Sabbath AS JEWISH PROSELYTES, NOT as Gentiles.

But where are Gentiles as Gentiles ever commanded to keep the Sabbath? Furthermore, if the Sabbath was of universal application, why were the Gentiles called "strangers?" The apostle Paul, speaking of the Gentiles during the Jewish age, says they were "strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world?" (Ephesians 2:12)

And when God gave the Sabbath commandment at Sinai, why did he make it binding ONLY on "the stranger that is within your gates?" (Exodus 20:10) Where is the passage that proves the Sabbath was binding on the Gentile OUTSIDE the gates? All this shows the Sabbath was NOT universally applied. If it had been, there would have been no "strangers from the covenants of promise."

Who did God tell to REMEMBER? Exodus 20:2 - I am the Lord your God, who brought YOU out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage -- The Israelites.

Moses gives the reason the sabbath was given to the nation of Israel: “REMEMBER that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought YOU out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore, the Lord your God has commanded YOU to observe the Sabbath day.” (Deuteronomy 5:15)

Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel: “The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.” (Exodus 31:16-17)

*You need to stop conflating the old and new covenants and learn how to rightly divide the word of truth. You are leading people astray.

The question of whether Sabbath keeping is imperative on Christians is a debated topic among Christians. Some argue that Sabbath keeping is still a requirement for Christians, while others believe that it is not necessary.

Those who argue that Sabbath keeping is not necessary often point to Colossians 2:16-17, where the apostle Paul declares, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” Similarly, Romans 14:5 states, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” These Scriptures make it clear that, for the Christian, Sabbath-keeping is a matter of spiritual freedom, not a command from God.

However, those who argue that Sabbath keeping is still necessary often point to the fact that the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 20:8-11). They also point to the fact that Jesus Himself observed the Sabbath and taught about its importance (Mark 2:27-28).

In terms of exegetical information, it is important to note that the Sabbath was a central and highly symbolic festival in ancient Judaism, commemorating the Israelites' deliverance from slavery in Egypt. According to the Old Testament narrative in the book of Exodus, God instructed the Israelites to keep the Sabbath day holy and to do no work on that day (Exodus 20:8-11).

In the New Testament, the Sabbath is mentioned in several instances, including in the Gospels where Jesus is described as observing the Sabbath and teaching about its importance.

However, there are also instances where Jesus and His disciples were accused of violating the Sabbath law, leading to debates and controversies among the religious leaders of the time (Matthew 12:1-14).

In terms of rabbinical writings, the Talmud contains extensive discussions and interpretations of the Sabbath laws and traditions. These writings provide insight into the ways in which the Sabbath was observed and understood in ancient Judaism.

In conclusion, the question of whether Sabbath keeping is imperative on Christians is a complex and debated topic. While some argue that it is still necessary, others believe that it is a matter of spiritual freedom. Regardless of one's stance on the issue, it is important to understand the historical and biblical context of the Sabbath and to approach the topic with respect and understanding for differing viewpoints.

Our Lord’s commentary on the Fourth Commandment is of great importance and relevance to contemporary Christians. Let us explore some of the implications of His teaching on the Sabbath as we conclude this lesson.

The first lesson which we should learn from the Sabbath controversy in the gospels is that the central and foundational issue underlying the controversy is not Jesus’ interpretation, but Jesus’ identity. The Jews sought to put Jesus to death as a result of His defense. The reason was not only because those who opposed Him were put to shame, but because the Sabbath controversy was but further proof that Jesus was God incarnate.

When you read through the gospels carefully, you will discover that at the outset of His ministry Jesus performed miracles on the Sabbath, but that they were not challenged.3 What caused the change? What made the “violation of the Sabbath” such a heated issue? The answer is this: Jesus had clearly claimed to be God incarnate. The Sabbath controversy was therefore the attempt to prove Jesus a Law-breaker, thus proving that such a “sinner” could not be God: “Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying, ‘This man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.’ But others were saying, ‘How can a man who is a sinner perform such signs?’ And there was a division among them” (John 9:16).

The Gospel of Mark illustrates the sequence of events which led to the Sabbath controversy. In 1:21-28 Jesus cast an unclean spirit from a man in a synagogue in Capernaum on the Sabbath, yet there was no objection raised, only praise. In chapter 2 Jesus first forgave the sins of the paralytic who had been lowered through the roof of the house where Jesus was speaking. The scribes reasoned that only God could forgive sins, and thus that Jesus was making the claim to be God. Thus, in the closing verses of chapter 2 the Sabbath controversy is commenced. The Sabbath issue was but a symptom problem, an attempt to prove Jesus to be a sinner, and not the Son of God. This debate, like countless other debates throughout church history, was not a search for truth but an attempt to squelch the truth.

The identity of Jesus as the Son of God was the heart of the Sabbath issue. Jesus could work on the Sabbath because He was the Son of God (John 5:16-17), One greater than the temple (Matthew 12:6), and greater than David—Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8). Since God the Father was the Sabbath maker, Jesus, as God, can not only break the Sabbath, He can abolish it altogether. As God, Jesus could work on the Sabbath, and more than this, He could offer men true rest, a rest far superior to the Old Testament Sabbath rest, and surely far better than any rest which the Pharisees had to offer. It is no accident that these verses immediately precede the great Sabbath debate in Matthew’s gospel: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

There is only one true rest, my friend, and that is the rest which Jesus Christ gives, the rest of forgiveness of sins, the rest of ceasing from striving to be holy, and of being found holy in Him. I pray that this rest is yours.

You remain on the old covenant plantation of law, steeped in legalism, and cannot seem to make the transition into the new covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:13) I can see that the SDA church has really done a number on you. :(

*You need to stop conflating the old and new covenants and learn how to rightly divide the word of truth. You are leading people astray.
Interesting, this is what Jesus said is leading people astray in His Words....

Matt 15:3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father [a]or mother.’ Thus you have made the [b]commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

8 ‘These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

12 Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”

13 But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

Matt 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus kept the Sabbath Luke 4:16 and is our example to follow 1 John 2:6. Jesus told us to live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. God said Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Man says forget. My faith is in Hims but we are given free to test any therory we want including ignoring the warning Jesus gives in Mat 5:19

Where is the scripture that says the Sabbath has been abrogated? Would be just as clear as God gave the commandment. Only He can reverse His blessing Num 23:20 so you would need a thus saith the Lord on that verse. All the thus saith the Lords on the Sabbath and there are many are for us to keep and not profane. Jesus said it was made for us and He kept it and is our example to follow as did His faithful disciples. Thats where I place my trust, but we have free will.
