To be honest....I don't know that I would date somebody just like me. Not that I don't like myself or think that I'm a bad person or anything, but it's just that it's our differences, our silly quirks, and habits that make us who we are....and that can be attractive.

I find the idea of dating oneself very strange.

Even if there was a man exactly like me, its just strange.
The idea behind the question is to evaluate yourself as a potential partner. If you say no you wouldn't, the next question is " well if you wouldn't why should anyone else want to?". It's not intended to be so literal.

I still dont get why would someone date a person that is an opposite sex clone of the other, there would be nothing special in that relationship. It would be like having a relationship with a doll.

Partners should be highly compatible of course, but there should be some differences because if there arent any you are just meeting a mirror of yourself.
