America needs a president who will take care of both our economy and our obligations worldwide.

We need a leader who won’t back down when thugs like Putin goes off the handle.

Hard to know if you're serious. She's said she would pardon Donald Trump, "for the good of the county," if elected president. That's a deal-breaker for me. I guess for her the good of the country means treating some people as if they're above the law. If she backs down to thugs like Trump, why should we believe she would stand up to Putin?

i'm not in her head, but is it possible she says she'll pardon him to pacify or assuage people who are torn between the two? so they'll vote for her, i guess?

I don't know, but if the only reason she said it is to get votes, that makes my opinion of her even lower.

please don't let my speculation influence anything. i'm mistrustful of politicians. she said she'd do it for the good of the country, so i suppose we should at least lend credence to that being the truth.

It doesn't; I already know where I stand. If Trump is convicted and ends up in jail, pardoning him for the "good of the country" is one of the lamest reasons she could give. What's good for the country is justice for all, not just the privileged.

I agree with her on this. And I agree with you too. Yet I think pardoning Trump is important to avoid unrest in our country. Even though he should be punished for what he’s done.

That is what Susanna's supporting, whether she acknowledges it or not.

I used to like Haley when she was governor and later as ambassador. However, her anti-Trump ridiculousness, plus Dems voting for her in her primary (NH, was it??) have told me all I need to know about her. She's a "moderate" Republican who does not get the culture war, and this is why she's also not facing 700 years in prison.
