There would be no need for the Holy Spirit to gives us the Gift of Interpretation if it was human language.

oh my lands dude! nowhere does that mean it is some language never spoken on earth

I mean who made all the languages if we believe the Bible? something about tower of babble I think?

I usually kind of interpret or get a feel for what I was praying about in tongues.....to me, that would kind of be the norm if a person is to get some kind of idea of clarity about a situation or whatever

well, don't mind me, but if that is your 'proof' text I would disagree and further say to look into the subject better and one verse does not a doctrine make ;)
The Holy Spirit ""speaks" when we speak in tongues.
If the Holy Spirit is speaking why does it need to be human? < That makes no sense at all.

If that was the case we would not the Holy Spirit's Gift of Interpretation to understand when the Holy Spirit speaks through speaking in tongues.

Listen to the War in Russia and Ukraine. You immediately hear a DIALECT.
Speaking in tongues ''has NO"" dialect.
What is it we are trying to figure out here? I may by hearing and understanding their speech say, "Hey they're speaking Russian" I would still have no clue what was said without and Interpreter.

Right. So that would mean at least 7000 or so people would be in any given service/gathering to be able to translate.

Please....think about what you are actually saying here :cautious:

Have you ever heard God speak through the Holy Spirit in God's Language?
What makes you think it would have to be human?
Why would it require a Supernatural Gift to Interpret if it was human?

I'm now very comfortable saying I disagree with you. What you are saying is not in scripture.

Anyway, since even people who say they speak in tongues have problems understanding the text, it really does not leave much for those who are not familiar with the subject to go on.

smh

Why do you think it has to be human language?
It's the Holy Spirit speaking.

What do you identify as 'Gods' language?'

Romans 8:26
For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that ""words cannot express""

that words cannot express
Don't forget Paul also called it utterances.

Well now you are misinterpreting what I said. If you go back some posts, you will see I never said that.

What I did say, was that it could be but not necessary. Please do not put words in my mouth and thank you

Why do humans force God to speak in human when it is God speaking to God (Holy Spirit speaking to the Father)?

Why must the Holy Spirit be speaking in human language when He is speaking to the Father?

They have their own language.

Why do you think it has to be human?

How foolish can we be to think when God speaks to God it has to be human?

OK.. I'm just going to say what I would say if in person here....I probably would just blurt out 'that's ridiculous' and then say why and smile to convey the fact I am not trying to belittle anyone.

You now, no one but YOU and possibly not the best teacher in the world, are responsible for your thoughts here. They do not line up with scripture and God does not need you to defend Him. :)

Would you like God to speak in camel or donkey? LOL! You have left off making sense.

Does everyone here think when the Holy Spirit speaks to Jesus or the Father it must be done in the human language?

Or do we think They have Their own Heavenly language?

When God speaks to God?

I think it's lunch time where I am.
Romans 8:26
For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that ""words cannot express""

what do you think this means?
the Spirit himself pleads with God

Isn't that God speaking to God?
