Unfortunately it's really common.
At Southern States and other feed stores they find a bunch of dehydrated and homeless chicks and bunnies around their parking lots the day after Easter.
Parents also do foolish impulsive things like buying living animals for their toddlers. Toddlers should have stuffed animals because they squeeze the cute animals and cause ruptured organs.

I was listening to a list of 'customer service brainrot. These arent my experiences just ones shared.
I meant to tell a customer their hot wings were ready and said, I'll be right back with your bones.
I once put a customers card in their mouth. They had it in their mouth and hands full so I had to take it but then they had their hands empty and I returned it to their mouth.
I once ask a customer if they had any plates I could take, he said no and I took them anyway and even took the fork out of his hand!
these go on and on. I guess customer service brainrot is real.
