Both Adam and Eve had knowledge that God said they were not to eat from the forbidden tree. Regardless if God told her directly or not, she knew- scripture clearly tells us that. If it was something as important as being kicked out of the garden of Eden, losing their spiritual clothes, being separated from the presence of God, I would imagine God told both directly. Regardless, she knew, the result was the same- separated from God and death.

Gen 3: 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said,You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
True, but Adam knew before Eve and as "Husband" it's most likely Adam told Eve.

A soft answer turns away wrath.
Sometimes there are no other way to make someone understand but in essence i agree with you i am too direct I know but i will try to do better. I spoke to her like she was a child and it was not called for.

thank you.

It’s possible but Eve said ‘God said’ not Adam said. It’s not written that Adam told her either the bigger point is that she knew God said not to eat from the tree.

If it exists it's most likely to be found in the Catholic Bible.

They're probably looking for the day when 3 frogs in Revelation come out of the Ocean so they can worship them alongside of Mary.
Not sure you are correct.

I will check the Clear Word Bible and see.

You also accused people of being angry.

I think the word, 'frustration', would be a better description.

Frustration at folk that make claims and alter the meaning of words and phrases.

You are being ridicule, and write things that are false and you know this. Please stop. I will not discuss this again.
Glad you will stop pretending to discuss things with me when you are such a liar.

You don't think it's possible that Adam said to her, "God said," even though it came from Adam's mouth and voice?

Magenta there are no machination here only scripture, why do you fight so hard when is is written. We do not know how much time passed between Adam and the fall of man, it is true that it is not written who told Eve about the tree of good and Evil, God or Adam. I do not think it was me who told you that GOD had told Eve, but is it this important? I can see it is to you and if I did I am sorry for the mistake. One day we will certainly know how it all happened. Know that I hate machination, manipulations and Lies, I can make mistakes certainly but I am always truthful.

Peace.
You made the following boast?

"but I am always truthful"

I doubt whether anyone throughout the history of mankind, has ever told the truth always!

It is better not to blow your own trumpet.

It's possible, but in my opinion, I think God and Adam both told her, something that important. Eve didn't say God told Adam, she said God said- to me this implies God told her and at the very least she knew not to eat the fruit came from God. The point is she knew.

Not everything is written down so it is possible.

The Gospel of John tells us in John 21:25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

I wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, but I can tell you from experience: we aren't the exception to any rule, we end up proving the rule on way or another.

It is not written that God told Eve. Why do you say/support saying that it is?
It is not written specifically. And what she said in Genesis 3:3 is a reference to what Adam was told. But it is entirely possible that Eve may also have been told the same thing by God directly. We just don't have it recorded. Just like we don't have it recorded that God told Cain and Abel (and perhaps Adam and Eve at the same time) as to which sacrifices were acceptable to Him and which were not. Otherwise how would Abel had known what to sacrifice. He even chose the "firstlings" (first-born) of his flock and their fat.

It is not written specifically.
It is not written at all. So if someone says, "I can only go by what Scripture says", and then claims
God said something to someone when there is no record of it in Scripture, something is sorely amiss.
Likewise there is something wrong with pretending God must have told Eve specifically simply because she knew.

Just curious here.

If no one told Eve, how was she able to answer the serpent proclaiming that God said? How did she even know to say that God said?
