I think trying to understand free will, is trying to understand how a mind works or how a seed grows.
It's the same as trying to understand where the wind will blow.
I don't believe we have free will, and I don't think there is such a thing as free will, I believe it's an invented idea.
I believe we have a free choice.
I feel in the case of free will being included in church doctrine, is based on philosophy and theology of a mans own natural thoughts.

The ability to make one’s own decisions as to what one will do, choosing as one pleases in light of one’s own sense of right and wrong and the inclination one feels;1 the ability to make willing choices that have real effects.2 Sometimes called free will.

Thus he is able to speak or to keep silent, to go out of his house or to remain at home, etc. However, even here God’s power is always to be observed, for it was the cause that Balaam could not go as far as he wanted (Num., ch. 24), and Zacharias upon returning from the temple could not speak as he wanted (Luke, ch.1).

Free agency is a mark of human beings as such. All humans are free agents in the sense that they make their own decisions as to what they will do, choosing as they please in the light of their sense of right and wrong and the inclinations they feel. Thus they are moral agents, answerable to God and each other for their voluntary choices. So was Adam, both before and after he sinned; so are we now, and so are the glorified saints who are confirmed in grace in such a sense that they no longer have it in them to sin. Inability to sin will be one of the delights and glories of heaven, but it will not terminate anyone’s humanness; glorified saints will still make choices in accordance with their nature, and those choices will not be any the less the product of human free agency just because they will always be good and right.

Their gospel teaches the following things:
1. Christ did NOT die for the sins of the whole world, only for the sins of the so-called "elect".
2. God "elects" only some for salvation, and ignores the rest of humanity.
3. But since no one can respond to the Gospel and believe, God first "regenerates" the sinner, who then believes. This is the reverse of what the Bible teaches.
4. Therefore the so-called "elect" believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
The only closeness I can see to free will in the scripture you posted is desire.
Desire is never free tho,
The desire a man has before he saved is not free,
As the scripture says whoever the son sets free is free indeed.
This is true. Once you repent you are elected.
This is true, once you repent it's the start of being saved, don't repent and you become the many.
This is true in parable of the seed in Luke.
Gods word is the seed that enters the heart, in some it stays for a while before being removed.
In others it stays and re-generates then they repent. Because the heart understands.

Right-give your explanation of the gospel-and the doctrine of election are all over in Scriptures-remember Noah-a preacher of righteousness? The whole then know world were destroyed-what about Sodom and Gomorrah? A caricature rampant in the now known world and is the norm for the whole kosmos

I understand but I ain't seeing any Pacific verse in the bible that says the words free will
I can't see any freedom in Man's will here either
