My point was that the love of money is what is evil. Having money is not evil. God blesses people and some people are really good with money and in business. Socialism is a gospel of greed, you work for it but you're suppose to give some to me. So yeah, don't be envious of others wealth. And stats show that people are more giving when they do it themselves not having their arm twisted by the gov't.
Agree, what James is addressing is within a larger context, not just the wealth of the brethren.
YOU opened that door by quoting ONE scripture (out of context btw) supporting your assertion that God finds nothing wrong with being rich. I just showed you that there are 60+ other scriptures showing God does NOT endorse our being rich.

No, but my husband said Tim Pool had a counter on his show for every time Biden slurred his speech or made a "gaff". Apparently 130 gaffs, etc. A bumble every 2 minutes or so.
I think it's time for Americans to take a breath and step back and think. You said you don't believe either one %100. That's fine but its got to be at least 60/40. Surely you see that certain concerns are imminent for the country. Did you watch the SOTU address last night? Consider the following and how imminent you think it is compared to "mammon worship" that you say conservatives are guilty of. Make an honest comparison here.
- Beautiful young lady, Lakin Riley, was murdered by an illegal allowed into this country. I believe she was wanting to be a nurse. She went for a jog and never came home because an illegal male bashed her head in with a rock. Can you imagine being her parent?! And the president had to be forced to say her name last night, which he bungled, and then tried to excuse it.
- Sen, Katie Britt spoke of a young woman she spoke to who had been sex trafficked since she had been 12 years old. She was raped repeatedly day in and out. Direct result of an open border.
- Combine these issues and consider that Biden undid some 50 policies to undo what Trump had been doing on the border. Add fentanyl to the mix and we have a massive problem that could have been solved out the gate had Biden even cared a little about the country.
- Let's talk numbers. My husband and I have no children and we are paying $100 more than before Biden got in to office for groceries. We stopped buying meat. Thankfully he works only a couple miles from home. The gas is too expensive. We stay close to home, I haven't visited family that live about three hours from us for almost a year now. My young nephew just got married and has a baby. He can't find a job or a place to live. He does Door Dash to try and keep food on the table. Buying even a cheap home is a distant dream. And every one of these issues is Bidens doing.
- Schools are allowing children to change their sexual identity and not telling their parents and wanting to push surgery and not tell parents! Parents were identified as domestic terrorists for resisting same sex bathrooms, boys in girls sports and porn being taught to their children along with radical junk about race.
- The FBI have looked into conservatives spending, what and where they were spending, and the banks allowed it!! They should be sued out of existence!!
- The Dems refuse any limits on abortion, up to and after the birth of a child, infanticide.
So you can sit back on your sofa and nit pick and pretend there is no difference between the two parties, but there is!! I think you need to drop a therapist or two and start seeing the reality that is happening around you and how dangerous it is to sit on the sideline and refuse to vote. smh The apathy in this country is just stunning!
