God hardened their hearts.

But when that man showed and explained and spoke the Gospel, my Grandfather understood.

So you admit you have to be baptised in water to be saved?

You just spent the last hour yelling at me that you never said that!
Jesus said these things to His Disciples

1. 47 and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

2. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

3. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive

So Jesus said to His Disciples 1. Repent, 2. be Baptized, 3. receive the Holy Spirit

I was using romans 6: 23. for the wage of sin is death

wage is Opsonion - means Pay, Wages, Compensation

in effect. it says we owe God death based on our sin.

It follows this by saying the gift of God is eternal life. as Jesus paid our wage for us.. which is called redemption. he purchased our life by paying the wage for us.. ie, he purchased us from that slavemarket..
Right and that was what the slave market represented. Jesus paid our wage to free us from the slave market

Paul wrote this about water baptism: (Paul is saying water baptism is like being buried in death like Jesus was)

3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life

Peter is saying what Jesus said:

38 And Peter said to them: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I ADMIT I AM SAYING WHAT THE JESUS, PETER, AND PAUL SAID IN THE BIBLE!

8 as it is written,

“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”
This Verse shows the JEWS are in this ^ condition.

But the GENTILES are able to see and hear the Gospel of Christ!

Yes, this is how it happens.

To harden ones heart is to STRENGTHEN THEM. God hardens people hearts by putting truth in their faces. the more they deny the truth and replace it with their lie. the more hard or powerful their heart (will) comes to reject the truth,

Notice with Pharoah, he started small. and each time he got more and more powerful plague,, so that when he killed the first born.. Pharoah still rejected the truth, and went after the people he let go and sent his army to their deaths.

A person can harden their heart so much they will never see the truth.

an example would be a person who believes 2 + 2 = 5. The more you put an their face or show them 2 + 2 = 4, and the more they continue to deny it. the more hardened they are to the truth.

But jews can hear and see also. you said yourself you can..

That passage is about the time God will send them prophets and force them to continue in unbelief, because they are forced to keep believing the lie.

I have no problem with your explanation.

I am just saying Paul said to this very day the JEWS are blind and deaf to the Gospel.

Thank God the Gentiles can see and hear!

This is not water baptism here. This is holy spirit baptism. God literally baptizesd you into his death, and buried you in that same baptism. no water is involved.

Jesus said these things to His Disciples

1. 47 and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

So your admitting I am right, and you believe water baptism is required. Yet you yelled at me for saying you never said that.

Give me a break.

PS Mark 16 is questionable.
1. it is not in the oldest manuscripts
2. It does not make sense (if a child of God eats poison or gets bit, they will die.. there is no guarantee they will nto die)
3. At the very least. It does not say water, if could be spirit baptism, which is automatic.

finally. Read the book of John, Jesus never mentions baptism, he always mentioned believe only

as for acts. again, study the passage, it does nto say what you think it says
