Strike Teams



The Prayer Strike Program is a ministry of the International House of Prayer in conjuction with Lou Engle and TheCall. From its base in Kansas City, teams are developed and deployed to key regions in the earth where breakthrough is needed for the spreading of the Lord's justice and salvation. In those regions, the teams engage in concentrated worship, prayer, and fasting. Like a military's air force, these teams also provide the needed “air support” for the "ground troops" – the onsite ministries and churches – to advance in the Lord’s assignments. Such a role is described in Paul’s exhortation: “Now I beg you, brethren, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers to God for Me” (Romans 15:30).

To join these teams as full-time staff members of IHOP Kansas City, members will need to complete the one-year program of TheCall School.

Jesus asked peter who do you say i am? Peter said thou art the christ the son of the living God . Jesus said upon this rock
I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.he told him whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound
in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven,rev2:12-17 is saying same thing. It says to him that overcometh
will I give to eat hidden manna and will give him a white stone and the stone a new name written which no man knoweth saying
he that recieveth it. Would talk to girls but there over there contemplating.

can you show me in the bible where the "spirit of ELIJAH" is what we are praying for?

I thought it was the Holy Spirit from GOD.... I thought we were to pray to be like JESUS not Elijah....

what is this "Spirit of Elijah" he (Lou Engle) is talking about and where can I find it in scripture?

Maybe Paul was also a manifest sons of God heretic????

I believe two of the main problems in western/American Christianity is #1 We do not have a true revelation of who God/Jesus really is, and #2 We do not have a true revelation of who we really are in Christ. When we are born again we are adopted into the family of God and our identity changes. We are no longer children of wrath, but the righteousness of God. Satan's main course of action is to make sure we never realize who we are in Christ, and if we do to eventually, he comes steal our identity from us. If we forget who we are in Christ, if Satan can get us to believe that we are still sinners then he can keep us in sin. However if we ever realize that we are overcomers, then we will overcome. When the prodigal son was in the mud eating sloth with the pigs he wasn't a pig, he was a son. But it wasn't until he remembered who he was, even more so who His father was, did he pull himself out of the pigpen and return to his fathers house. So it is with us, when we know who we are, moreover who's child we are, we will live accordingly.

I like the book, thats doesnt mean I know or agree with everything he says. At least he believes in the true Jesus of scripture. The one that saves us from our sin.

My computer has no sound, but i have seen this man live, and I am positive, just because you think it is ''outrageous'' doesnt mean i would. After all you came against m,y post that we should understand who we are in Christ and walk in the power He meant for us to walk in.

1st John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
First and foremost we are forgiven. When we come to Jesus with a truly repentant heart He forgives us of all our sin, and declares us righteous before the Father. Satan would have us remain mired in self hatred, shame, guilt, not being able to forgive ourselves, but Jesus has forgiven us, and we need to know above all else we are forgiven, and have been reconciled to the Father.

You have been chosen by God to be in a relationship with God. The God of all creation wants you to love Him, and has specifically chosen you to be a part of His house hold. It is almost incomprehensible. Yet Satan would have you to believe you are unloved and unwanted, rubbish, you are loved and wanted by the most powerful being in the universe the most powerful full of love being through out all time and space.

2nd Coritnthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 4

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The reason some of have such a hard time struggling with life issues, sin, self identity, unforgiveness of self or others is because we see ourselves as ourselves, and not as ''Christ''-ians fashoined in His likeness we look to ourselves, and not to Christ to forgive others, to keep ourselves from sin, to get ourselves through the day. We need to stop looking to ourselfves for we are dead, and it is is Christ that lives in us and for us. So what we need to do it die, and let Him live. Then we will be able to live in peace through the storm, resist temptation forgive ourselves, forgive others, see ourselves as God sees us, for it will be Christ that is doing it and not us. All though when He does it in us and through us it will actually be us doing it by proxy. Let us see ourselves as new creations, fashioned after the very image of Christ Himself, and then others will be able to see Christ in us.

I am taking a week long internet fast. Nothing to do with any argument. I was going to do out to eat, and Soda from monday-monday, but my anniversary is Saturday and I have to take my wife out friday night so couldnt do out to eat so I decided to go with what would hurt the most...lol

The problem that you are having is in your inability to discern between black and white, and good and evil. Zone and I have duked it out a few times and strained our friendship because we differ in doctrine, but to consider one another as being evil, that's just not how the love of God operates because love thinks no evil. I have failed in that area and repented of that evil. Along with your lack of discernment you have a problem in your conscience and in your heart with insecurity. You probably, in private, compare yourself to others which is not wise (2Cor 10:12).

This is why you inwardly isolate and separate yourself from those that challenge you and oppose your doctrine and understanding of the scriptures. When any of us have these kind of issues in the heart we can not talk ourselves out of them, but we can humble ourselves under God's mighty hand and in due time He will exalt us. It is better to rest in that promise then to get all worked up in the flesh and say things with our tongue in a callous manner. We all have sinned with our tongue and we need to confess that to God just like any other sin.

i used to be a real skeptic about that guy (his claims to raise the dead and visit heaven and stuff), but i'm done with that.

i watched some really cool videos of people falling over and twitching and i WANT TO BE SAVED!

so i'm going!
