That's a logical fallacy. Not believing every single word in the Scripture at a literal level exactly the same way
as you does not mean anyone believes every single word in the Scripture is to be understood at a literal level.
Funnily enough, though, I have "met" those who claim to believe that every single word in the Scripture is to
be understood at a literal level when it is obvious nobody at all really believes that it is even truly possible.
Agreed. There's history, poetry, allegory, literal...

He also is apparently not able to answer my direct question.
Not surprised....
That would be incorrect and I am not a "he"

Your question has a built in bias and presuppositions so you have already poisoned the well.

Ask a question without presuppositions and I may be more inclined to engage in conversation, maybe.

Well, you say that, but I seriously doubt it.
Were you willing to engage in a conversation about our differences of opinion, you would not worry that I did not word the question exactly to your expectation.
You know exactly what I want you to answer, and yet you refuse... and blame it on the way I worded the question.

Let me know when you are willing to grow up and act like an adult, and have a real discussion.

No. Direct questions are being dismissed. That's why it's time to move on.

As the Fonz frequently said, Exactamundo.

Ad hominem. lol

I am sorry you do not understand what a loaded question is and I am not sure why you get to pose a huge biased question most likely to put me on the defensive so who really needs to grow up?

I would have appreciated a dispassionate discourse on the topic because it is my area of study and I know both sides of the conflict well, oh well.

This conflict is not bible prophecy so a discussion with a futurist always goes nowhere, "God gave them the land" is their main argument.

He did and then God gave them Jesus and they said no thank you.

So the only discussion can be based using geo-political-historical basis starting with the Ottoman Empire.

I am a female, why would you doubt that. "He is Here" is a reference to Jesus being present with us in the here and now.

As well most men do not use flowers for their avatar that I have seen anyway.

Believe as you will, nothing I can do about it.

I don't doubt that you are female
I doubted that you would be willing to seriously discuss it.
It would also be enlightening to know just what it was about my question that you found presupposing. I asked a direct question about what has been going on in Gaza, since you think that is not a "just" war.
Nothing presupposed about it. I stated the facts, and asked how you would do things differently, to avoid an "unjust" war.... pretty simple, I think.

I have not made it personal.... I'm discussing my beliefs, as you are.
Please tell me how you would negotiate with a group/nation that has set as their goal to wipe your nation off the face of the earth? Tell them they can wipe half your nation off the earth, if they leave the other half alone? Or do you say, "our goal is to live in peace. You leave us alone, and we will leave you alone. If you attack us, we will respond with overwhelming force".....

How would YOU have "negotiated" with Hamas, had you been Netanyahu ?
There is no negotiation with Hamas. Unfortunately they have swayed the opinion of the world and made it believe that they have the right to attack Israel in every way possible.

In my opinion Israel is the only beacon of light in the Middle East. The people advocating for Hamas should think twice about where they would want to live in the Middle East. In Israel or in a Muslim country.

Perhaps, it is being the cheap labor for Europe, because I cannot imagine anyone supporting Islam for anything else.

@Susanna Why does Trump worry you?
Because he’s not tough enough on Russia, he’s too polarizing, he’s not respecting veterans, he’s a draft dodger, he’s not respecting our Constitution, he’s lashing out on judges and the courts in general…

What is positive is that he moved our embassy to Jerusalem and got rid of Roe vs. Wade,

Biden has been abusing the constitution with his lawfare. He has tried to prevent Texas from enforcing its borders, and excess help of Ukraine had not been approved of congress.

I think Trump would never side with Hamas, though I find his christianity to be totally oddball.

It is... but not for the person who lives in a fantasy world and has to dodge reality to justify that fantasy. (I can see the emojis now :D)

We agree 100% on something. I hope Israel says screw you to the world and wipes Hamas out. They're a roach infestation, and there's only one thing you can do to that.
