I say there are salvation issues and DECEPTION issues which effect salvation. Both are important, and its not ok to agree to disagree on either.

When someone is solid in both areas....I call them my brethren.
So are you saying that unless I agree with what you believe I am in error?

I'm saying unless you agree with the bible your in error.

You cannot have symbols and literal in the same verse, do you know how to understand the Bible?
Are you ready to answer the question yet?

(Revelation 18:3) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

I've redded two words.

Tell me, are they both symbolic or are they both literal?

Lets see if you are in error shall we?

As I said before even if I tell you, you will not believe

First lets look at the verse we were looking at:-
Revelation 11:8
(8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

This verse even tells us that it is spiritual but, you believe it to be both?

Uhm.....no...first we need to sort this out:

(Revelation 18:3) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

I've redded two words.

Or will you admit that you can have literal and symbolic in the same verse?

You can ADMIT it ya know? It's an admirable quality to admit when your wrong.

We're called to love our stubborn brothers too aren't we? I wouldn't tell someone they aren't my brother because they are stubborn. I would just tell them they are stubborn. What does the bible call them, stiffnecked people... My stiff-necked brothers.

What happens in Rev 18:3 comes under the heading of fornication. A symbol is something like beast=kingdom, sea=people.

Are you seriously gonna continue digging your own grave?

You just need to admit you were wrong thats all.

So....fornication does not symbolize anything?

Are you saying that the Mother of Harlots actually has physical sex? It's literal yes?

She physically fornicates and the nations drink of the wine of that wrath ya?

Do the nations also physically drink actual wine?

This will get worse and worse for you until you humble yourself and admit your error.

You do that then. Go for it. I refuse to pronounce fellowship with any who bring a different Gospel.

But you g'head and wish them God speed if ya want.

This shows that you do not understand anything, you only understand what you want to.

Are you gonna back up that personal remark by addressing the questions posed on topic?

Failure to address the thread material renders this statement a pure ad hom.

You would do better to humble yourself and admit your error. Otherwise, I wouldnt involve yourself in this topic again or I will keep bringing this up.

Jerusalem, the city where our Lord was crucified..is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. She is also the Mother of Harlots, as scripture teaches.

Many sects, which sprout from the mother, like Christian zionism and SDA, of course...can never admit this simple truth. Baby daughter dont want to offend mamma.

I know what you are saying. I just want to see the best in people. I want to think that christians want to be like Jesus. I try to point out error just like you do. I guess I give people more leeway because I am not as mature in Christ... I don't know it all yet so I don't expect others too either.

God Bless You

What does the place of his crucifiction have to do with it?
Revelation 11:7-9
New King James Version (NKJV)
7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our[a] Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.

not sure about the Babylon tie in...main chapter about Bablyon seems to be Rev 18...
