The Bible says if anyone speaks as if the oracles of God and he who speaks from himself is trying to gain glory from himself. Paul also says what you received from us was not the words of men but as it is in truth the Word of God which effectively works in you who believe. And it mentioned how Paul "taught and preached the Word of God" Paul mentions "this is what we speak not in words which man wisdoms teaches but which the holy Spirit teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual. For Jesus Christ says my Words are spirit and they are life.

Paul says teach no other doctrine. And Jesus says you shall not be called teacher, for you have one teacher the Christ. And in revelation he is called the Word of God.

In Proverbs "for the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Lastly "Do not add to his words lest you be found a liar". The Bible also says The entirety of your word is truth and the scriptures cannot be broken.

If anyone believes these scriptures, I would wish to read the Word of God with you. I don't know if it is allowed on these forums to share phone numbers in order to read the Bible over the phone but I would be interested in doing so.

Welcome!
The sharing of phone numbers would best be done in private messages and not publicly where the whole world can see them .:)

Welcome to Christian Chat. It would be nice if you would put chapter and verse on the verses your quoting. It's a matter of "courtesy." Also, since this is a Christian Chat site why not go over the word of God here? This way you can get the opinions of others and learn as well as grow by discussing them.

IN GOD THE SON,

what do you know about Jesus and the gospel ?

“Verily, verily, I ( Jesus ) say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

You shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul from Deuteronomy 11:18 blessed is the man that hears me watching daily at my gates proverbs 8:34-35

And let us stir one another up to love and good works Hebrews 10:24-25
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD
Hosea 6:3

If anyone wishes to "pursue the knowledge of the Lord with me" in reading the word of God and "dedicating ourselves entirely to it" as Paul charged Timothy. 1st Timothy 2:15

Whether anyone wishes to text me and we read together or if you read alone may the Lord cause us to be diligently in this. And as our Lord said blessed are those who hear the word of God and do it and also he said my mother and brother and sisters are those who hear the Word of God and do it.

I have a Bible and it has this to say about teachers:

"And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers..." Ephesians 4:11

"And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers....." 1 Corinthians 12:8

"....if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach............" Romans 12:7

I do not understand what you are getting at.

For the word says "my people perish for lack of knowledge. And the implanted word which is able to save your souls. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. And salvation is far from the wicked for they do not seek your statues. For it is God who works in you both to do and to will for his good pleasure.

Paul "taught and preached the word of the Lord" he who is sent. By God speaks the words of God. Not many of you should be teachers knowing that we shall be judged with stricter judgement. He who breaks on of the least of these commandments and teaches men so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.

In accordance with every verse you had noted. Acts 15:35 john 3:34 James 3:1 matthew 5:19

Since the scriptures cannot be broken. What you said is Good concerning the the word of the Lord both from the book of Romans and corinthians

Also Jesus says john 7:16-18 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or if i speak from myself. and lastly john 12:49 I did not speak from Myself, but the Father Himself, having sent Me, gave Me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak.

The KJV misleads here. The word translated "doctrine" is better translated "teaching". "Teaching" is taking the pure word of God and making it known by revelation. "Doctrine" is man's interpretation of God's word. Doctrine may or may not be correct. God's word is always correct.

I agree with what you have said. There does seem to be a lot of confusion on this thread. There is still a need for evangelists, pastors, and teachers. These are spiritual gifts.

"Doctrine" is man's interpretation of God's word.
I would disagree, Yes, didache is literally "teaching" but the term "doctrine" has been biblical for a long time, and is well understood. No one is going to switch to "teaching", which does not have the same connotation. Doctrine means a specific Bible teaching, not merely man-made teaching.

The words of our Lord Jesus christAnd do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ

Matthew 23:10

God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

1st Corinthians 12:28

1st Corinthians 12:12 12:27
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[a] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

Now you are the body of Christ and members individually.

In the book of psalms it says these entirety of your Word is true. Everyone of these scriptures is true.

The words of our Lord Jesus christ And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ[/COLOR]
You have misunderstood that verse. Here it is from the KJB: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

At that time teachers of the Law were calling themselves "rabbis" in order to exalt themselves, and they were also promoting the doctrines in men. Christ did not want to create a clergy versus laity in the churches, and therefore He made this statement and said "all ye are brethren". So when men call themselves "Reverend" or "Doctor" they are doing what the rabbis did -- setting up a clergy.

However, in the New Testament men are given the spiritual gift of "teaching", and they are supposed to teach sound Bible doctrine. They need not call themselves "teachers" but other believers will recognize them as teachers.

Feel free to disagree. Perhaps I can explain what I mean. "Doctrine" to me is things such as OSAS, that a Christian can lose his salvation, baptismal regeneration, that the gifts of the Spirit are no longer valid, that there are no more apostles and the host of beliefs that have given rise to tens of thousands of denominations. True teaching requires the revelation of the Holy Spirit, not the application of man's intellect alone.

You say that no one is going to switch to "teaching". Modern Bible translations have made the switch. So at least some people would beg to differ with you.

So just call them "false doctrines". That too is a recognized term. But since there are only twelve apostles of the Lamb, there are no more apostles.
