To those who want things to "go back the way they were" for the United States: make adjustments now before it is too late. If your fictions about the U.S. are not abandoned or altered to accommodate the Truth, you will break in the coming storms thinking God has abandoned you.
With all of the "new Norms" that Governments have now adopted and forced upon all humanity. For the Christian and Follower of the Most High God, it's a death sentence in waiting. The world ran into a crossroad and chose this direction. It will never turn back around. There might be a period of a couple years, possibly, we can slow the process. But Society as a whole is on its final path and it will never look left or right but keep going forward. The absolute worst is literally coming. Possibly for some of us in this thread it ain't going to be pretty when it meets up to us.

As long as I have breathe and my Hope in God, I will stand and fight using the Holy Word of God. And in my mind, and in my thoughts and heart, I know what it shall cost me. But I am willing and prepared because when I wake up, I will be with My Lord God and Savior.

Its good to pray for our nation we live in, but if you start printing bibles with your nation's constitution and other patriotic stuff in it like Trump, you have taken it too far. Heavenly Jerusalem over any worldly nation, amen?

How does the idea of Christian Nationalism fit into the plain statements of the first amendment?

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a fundamental part of the Bill of Rights that guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It states:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
Here’s a breakdown of its key components:
* Freedom of Religion: Prevents the government from establishing a national religion, promoting one religion over others, or restricting an individual’s religious practices.
* Freedom of Speech and Press: Protects the right to speak freely and the press to publish information and opinions without government interference.
* Freedom of Assembly: Guarantees the right of citizens to come together and express, promote, pursue, and defend their collective or shared ideas.
* Right to Petition: Ensures that individuals have the right to appeal to government in favor of or against policies that affect them or in which they feel strongly.
This amendment was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that make up the Bill of Rights.
Speaking of freedom of religion.

NYC to pay $17.5M for forcing Muslim women to remove hijabs for mugshot

https://www.foxnews.com/us/nyc-pay-17-5m-forcing-muslim-women-remove-hijabs-mugshot

Their religious rights were violated? Really? When arrested, the police need a clear picture of their faces during a mugshot. This irresponsible and insane decision to pay them $17.5M makes America look weak and pathetic to the rest of the world!

Well, NYC is very liberal so of course they're going to do stupid things like this with people's tax money. I'm so glad I'm not there anymore.

Four more pro-life protesters face prison time after being convicted for violating FACE Act

https://www.foxnews.com/media/four-...face-prison-time-convicted-violating-face-act

Now what about their religious rights? We have a dangerous double standard in America! Pro-life activist Paul Vaughn: This is an utterly ridiculous attempt by the DOJ to criminalize Christian beliefs.
Images of the red sea has been a recurrent in my thoughts... "just as He did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, and so that you may always fear the LORD your God." (Joshua 4: 23b-24), and the result of that event, "the waters flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen--the entire army of Pharoah that had chased the Israelites into the sea...." (Exodus 14: 28).

So, I can't help but wonder after the possibility of a similar event in a sea of red flooding the nation's electoral map come this November.

As we have already said in this thread, pastors sell bibles. If we want to get picky just watch TBN for a couple hours. If you "sow a seed of faith" and vow a certain amount of money you'll get healing water in jar from the Dead Sea. Or you can buy a bucket of food to make it through the tribulation from Jimmy Baker, still scammin' the masses. Heck if you have enough money you can even have Benny Hinn pray you back to health! Yeah, I don't have an issue with selling bibles.

An FBI whistleblower has reported that the FBI agents are being taught that pro-lifers are MORE DANGEROUS than terrorists. So now the FBI is targeting and arresting innocent law-abiding citizens for standing up for life.

Speaking of which, Donald Trump has made an excellent statement (reported today) to present his position on abortion vs the encouragement of babies being born into families. The Supreme Court handed the decision on abortion legislation to the states (where it belongs) and Trump says the will of the people should govern such legislation. That different states will have different standards for abortion.

Trump is right, as much as I abhor abortion. Up to the states to figure it out. Those who want an abortion ban, it's this or let Biden continue and then see what happens to abortions.

In certain ways it is very dangerous; one of the main ones being a careless disregard for the truth and of history. They claim to be the only ones who really know the truth; this is textbook cult behavior. CNs don't really see others as people, but as objects who can either help or hurt their cause. If you're not on board with their agenda, you're the enemy; and, in most cases, you're not even a true Christian. They claim to be Christian, but have a very skewed idea of what it means to be a Christian. And I agree, it's a political movement wrapped in "Christianity."
CNs are overly judgmental. I am Christian and a Republican who does not agree with CNs. Like you said, they are closed minded, and do not exemplify the patience, love, empathy and grace of Jesus Christ. Yes, I agree, cultish.

1.) It's a nice pithy meme... but it's makes the pithy point by removing about 99% of church history. Kind of reductionist.

2.) I could also point out this statement comes from a woman who sells her speaking services and books, to Christians, in America, for profit.... while fretting the church has turned into a business.

Maybe Priscilla is a nice person... but if you're making your living off the church, selling them stuff, maybe you're not the right person for the job of accusing the church of being a business.

I'm OK with people thinking out loud so long as they use their indoor voice.
