John 1:9
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

I'm just wondering if anyone sees this the same way I kind of do. From this verse it is I guess sort of implied that someone is born when they come into the world, I was wondering if anyone sees it this way: that someone is not alive until they're born? Just from this verse alone. I know that if someone is delivered prematurely that they can still survive, so it might be logical to conclude that someone is alive in the womb... but from this verse perhaps someone needs to be born to be alive? Perhaps it is only after the birthing process that someone is actually alive (even though there is kicking in the womb)? Something that has kind of occurred to me is that if every aborted fetus goes to heaven and is a child there (perhaps that fetus would grow to a child and then the child would be with everyone else) that would be A LOT of people in heaven and in the Millenial Kingdom... something that sort of has a peculiarity to me.

This makes no sense. Zero. The fetus has a heartbeat, blood circulation, processes nutrients to grow. It is alive.

That's really how you read it?
Like a peanut, you can't see what it looks like until you crack open the shell. If the peanut had ears would it be able to hear you? If the peanut had feelings would it be able to feel you?

Scientists have captured the spark of life on camera. It shows that the moment of conception creates a bright spark. This is good evidence to support the view that life begins at the moment of conception.

There are other scientists who hold to other theories, some think a baby is not a human for some months after it's born. So there are lots of conflicting views out there.

I heard recently that scientists videotaped the moment of conception and there was an emission of light. The source was a medical professional, but I didn't get his source of the information.
And no, I have no idea how it was actually done. It might well have been the most invasive procedure ever.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

The other day I saw this movie about abortion there was a little baby on an ultrasound and as they inserted the device to vacuum it out it was trying to get away from the end of the vacuum fighting in it’s little womb to live . Afterwards I listened to a former abortion doctrine explain the process of latter term abortion

i am still incredibly disturbed by what I saw shaken to my core really I always sort of avoided learning anything about it just always knew it was wrong in my opinion but wow I had no idea the depths of horror it involves

i can’t for the life of me figure out how this ever became a thing people do

It's horrific what they do. Hopefully, we are on the way to correcting this evil.

Sadly I dont think we are on that path brother I think God will restore order and truth one day but I don’t think we ever will

it reminds me of what pharoah was doing to Hebrew make babies in exodus tossing them in the river at birth ehat a twisted and lost world when abortion is a heated debate

I wish I didn’t think this but I believe it’s all going to get worse and worse morally until the lord ends it

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ( note thre Terrible within people’s hearts ) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It seems we’re on tbat path with that compass I’m sad at the moment writing this honestly how a nation could come to terms with something like that and fight hard to make it acceptable is just bewildering to my brain

but I suppose this is true for all of us

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and so I hope those involved find repentance at some point and turn to the lords graciousness and mercy because I know he forgives and is a much better judge than I could ever be of anyone

the actuon of abortion however is apparently and obviously a grotesque perversion of all that is decent and all that is life and an honor to the altar of death

I don't know I guess I sort of lean towards coming into the world to mean being after birth.
What about the spirit of life in the person that’s actually who we are and who is alive ? When does it come into the world

I think I'll keep praying anyway. Who knows what God might do?

It doesn't matter what you think. When does God acknowledge them as a real person?

Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

My parents actually have four children, not three. While my mother was pregnant with her second child, she just found out that the money her father, my grandfather, used to pay for her nursing education could have been used to pay for treatment of his stomach cancer. Without it he died. My mother was devastated. So devastated that she miscarried. She lost her second child. I don't think the rest of the family thinks about her, but I can't wait to meet her when this is all over.

Luke 1:15 (KJV)
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Well I think this might seal the deal, if John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Ghost in his mother's womb and was alive at that point as this verse seems to indicate then I guess life might start at conception. I think there might have been less than 1 billion abortions worldwide ever, maybe less than 500 million, but still that is a lot of people. I guess the city of the saints is going to be large and very populated. I think Shanghai might have less than 25 million people. Wow wow wow, a lot of people.

[Luke 1:41-42, 44 KJV] 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb. ... 44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
