How can we see others like God see us?

I was wondering if its possible to see to other ppl, neigbors, ppl at work, friends and every person in the same way of love and mercy that God see us? I think is possible, but how can we do that?
 
I tried to do this when I first learned about Jesus and again when I learned about one of my favorite saints. I believe the answer is looking at each person as someone with troubles and needs just like us. Even the most outwardly perfect person has struggles and pains that no one knows about. Humans are fragile even though they are strong. A life can end in an instant and all of us have to feel pain and suffering.

If we can keep these things in mind and also remember that we are all children in the eyes of God.. from the poorest starving child, to the richest, greediest businessman, to the most violent calloused criminal, to the most caring compassionate missionary...then we might be able to know a little bit about what its like to see ourselves through the eyes of God.

Well actually you can, and all you have to do ask Him and let Him open your eyes. Its cool that you are seeking that... So ask and you shall recieve... God bless
 
Maybe one way would be through empathy. Putting yourself in someone else's shoes might make you realize how troubled how other people are and make you more compassionate.

Lizzytheone, i think by listening to songs by good christian singers, like Casting Crowns challenging song about 'If We Are The Body,' .

That said, I think we need to constantly remind ourselves of the greatest commandment of all after loving God #1 in your life: love. Love your neighbor as yourself. Another verse, out of faith, hope, and love, the grratest of the three is love.

My stratagy is to humble myself before someone. I know that God created them as He has created me. God blessed them with their heartbeats just as He has blessed me with mine. It's really hard for me to take negative reactions from others, even though it might not be directed at me, it still affects my sensitive infp nature. :p So, I try to do unto others as I'd like to be done unto me. I try to keep in mind that there is something bigger out there... The night sky is my clear example as to that.

God chose to love us. I think we should do the same.

Besides Casting Crowns (I love, love, LOVE, 'The Voice Of Truth'), I am in love with Twila Paris :D I saw her in concert and she was fantastic, just had the whole place rockin' when she sang 'God Is In Control,' and, had the whole place quiet so a teardrop hitting the floor could be heard for The Warrior Is A Child. ' :)

I think another way to see others as God sees us , with limitless grace and mercy is remembering saying, WWJD or 'What Would Jesus Do?'

That is TOUGH, it really , profoundly hard to do that , but, if we can rememberr what Jesus did on earth, give much grace and mercy to others, we are well on our way to being like Him. :)

I like that song too, Casting Crowns is one of my favorite groups but i love praise you in this storm :)

Thanks Kooper, this is a very good advice, if we remind constantly that God loves us may make ourselves more merciful....

Koop, I too like what you said, right at the beginning especially, challenging ourselves to be 'humble.'

This brings me to singing one of my favorite worship.songs and WHAT is the reward of being humble and being like Jesus, giving them (friends, family, strangers even, anyone, enemies too) mercy, grace, and, just plain not caring if YOU will get the biggest piece of pie ! ?
