Christianity, the Church, and the Bible today look very different then they did in their earliest inceptions. It´s hard for most Christians and secular people even today to imagine the world without the influences of all monotheistic religion; however at the time at and around of the death of Jesus such was the case. Not many modern-day Christians or secular individuals aside from some historians, apologetics, as well as priests and educated ministers, truly grasp know and understand the history of the church; all of it; and all of them in its entirety.
What truly makes the Bible authoritative and the word of God?
What are the Vulgate and Vernacular Bibles?
Is it true that in the early days of the Church that the Bible didn't exist?
What is the Nag Hammadi and what does it tell us about the history of scripture doctrine dogma and heresy?
Is it true that all Protestant Religions are fathered by the Catholic Church?
What was the great schism in the early second millennium?
Why did the crusades happen?
Did Saul physically witness the resurrected Christ or did he only see him in visions after his conversion into Paul.
Why and how did the Kings and monarchs of medieval Europe claim they were selected by God himself to rule mankind and why did this impact the trajectory of the history of the church.
Who are the reconstructionist movements and why are their biblical histories distorted?

These and more questions I will be answering on this thread. This will not be a discussion of scripture alone; however scripture will be used to reference meanings and history. If there is anything you want to hear about let me know. This will be outlined with proven historical facts, and no theories, theology, dogma, or heresies are going to be discussed or implied.

I'm approving this thread in spite of the fact that I'm pretty sure where it will end up. I hope that I'm wrong......

Because I firmly believe one can and should speak objectively about and know these histories regardless of belief systems or what denomination if any they are.

For me, I can't comment until I know what your understanding of "church" is. When you say church, what are you describing?

All of them from the first churches in the letters to modern day. I intend to cover complete church history and how they are all related and not so much so.

How many denominations do you think there are? I'm asking because many come here throwing around a number between 33,000 and 45,000.
A lot but did you know that only a very small fraction of denominations have no relationship or parentage in the others?

Okay first Question answer please your opinion thank you
The Vulgate Bible is the Latin and first western (other than Greek) translation of the Cannon of scripture. After the printing of the Gutenberg Bible; the scriptures became available to the common European to read in their own language. This means Vernacular. It also led to the Protestant Reformation and counter reformation. The most popular Vernacular English translation is the King James Vsn. That said any other Bible in any other translation other the. Hebrew Greek and Latin is known as a vernacular Bible.

So this is a theological debate (if I were to insert my opinion) however there is an objective history and for this I would have to start at the very beginning with Judaism which I will cover in tonight’s post as well as what scriptures were available to Jesus Christ to use and which ones he quoted and why he and others of the time period accepted them as such.

Guys tonight I will be writing about the early Judeo Christian foundations of the Church as well as the Septuagint Bible (the Jewish cannon of Old Testament scriptures) as well as other Hebrew Scriptures Christ used. As well as the early Christian and Jewish responses to the mysteries of the Resurrection and Pentecost and how they laid the foundations of the modern Judaic Bible as well as the New Testament

Okay, thanks, so from your view, you do believe Christ went to death once willingly to be resurrected and is resurrected, to never die again?

Please let me know, whether or not you do believe God the Father of the Son Jesus. raised Jesus as One with Father for us to be given new life in God's Spirit and Truth for us. Thanks in advance

Thank you, I ask anyways, there are many that choose to not believe by experience they have gotten from religion(s) there are many out for the self over everything else. Which leaves a bad taste in many peoples mouths

Those that believe God in risen Son for them see eventually as long as these do not quit belief as said in Col 1:21-23 to me to see and stand in no matter what troubles have come up, might come up or will come up

Couldn’t have said that better. However I do

It’s funny because the difference between humility you and the other man have is so real. I suggest highly that you reread the sermons to the Pharisees before trying to divinate what my foundation of belief are. I answer to God not you.
