This is what Lot saw when he chose to live there. Did he think he would change them?
Genesis 18:20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
Here we have the news of how bad the place is has become known around the world so that even God in heaven has heard how bad it is.
Genesis 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
It seems that Lot is either a government official or runs some kind of bed and breakfast in the city. It also seems there must be a curfew in this city.
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Now if we use San Francisco as the closest example today of Sodom it seems that at this time they are not getting any tourists, otherwise how could people from every quarter of the city all come to this one house over these two tourists? Also if you look at the previous chapters in Genesis concerning Sodom you begin with the place being looted, then you learn that the whole earth all the way to God in heaven has heard about what a basket case it is.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
I think we are all horrified by Lot offering up his daughters to a mob of rapists. But, consider that they are not interested in the girls they want to rape the men. Now is this story all that different from what we are seeing now with transgender men in women's locker rooms? Think about Christian parents sending their school age daughters into these schools, are they really all that different from what Lot did here?
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
This is what the unbelievers say about Christians preaching the gospel to them. Many Christians think that they need to "go along to get along" or that by embracing LGBTQ+ rights that everyone will get along. There is no compromise with sin. Sinners do not appreciate "love the sinner hate the sin". Their attitude is "who are you to judge me". We are strangers in a strange land and if you don't realize that then you are very naive.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.
We have been told repeatedly by many different prophets and prophecies that this is now the case with the US and with cities on both the East and West coast of the US.
Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Sometimes I get so caught up in this blog and the Bible and the news that I assume everyone else is too. However, yesterday I went to Applebee's because my wife's boss gave her a $10 gift certificate and she wanted to pick up some wings. In that place it is wall to wall TVs and everyone is acting like everything is normal, eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting and building. We had to sit there for about fifteen minutes till we could leave and it was stunning, I realized that place was Sodom.
Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
I have heard preachers try and downplay the fornication and strange flesh of Sodom and focus on the pride and arrogance. However, have you noticed that all these ones who push this LGBTQ+ agenda are proud and arrogant? Think about someone who wants to be a supreme court justice and will be ruling on many issues involving women yet says that she cannot define what a woman is because she is not a biologist. You have to be extremely arrogant to be that big a fool.

Buying and selling, planting and building, that refers to the stock market, loans and banking. These things will not collapse until the day God rains fire on Sodom and Gomorrah.
A building was just bought in San Francisco for $6.5 million, a building that the owner had bought for $62 million in 2018. He took a 90% loss on the sale! This means that real estate in San Francisco needs to be reappraised down and the banks holding the mortgages are now bankrupt. Why would anyone continue to pay mortgages on buildings that are this much underwater?

Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
Interesting that we always refer to the Passover but ignore the feast of unleavened bread. This feast represents a seven day period, one complete week, and during this time you are to clean your house out of all the leaven. The leaven represents the teachings and traditions of men. The Christian church cleaned out all the teachings and traditions of the rabbinical influence, that was the leaven. This feast represents the entire church age. This is how it began and this will also be how it ends.
2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
Right now the evil rulers of this satanic world are seeking how to get rid of the Christians. We are the "Body of Christ".
3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
If there were 12 branches of Christianity this is telling us that one of these branches will betray the Christians. Perhaps it is the Pope. Perhaps it is the Apostasy. Perhaps it is the ecumenical movement. But know this, at the end of the age "one of the twelve" will be filled with Satan and betray the Body of Christ.
4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
Whoever it is that is betraying the believers, they will be the ones who receive a lot of money. There are churches that operate on a shoestring budget and then there are those that are planning multi million dollar expansions.
6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. 7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
This is why the watchmen look at the set feasts because "this is when the passover must be killed". There are key prophetic events which must take place on these appointed days. The rapture is a rescue, they are planning on killing the Christians and instead they get raptured, snatched out of the jaws of certain destruction. Noah entered the ark seven days before the flood destroyed everything. Jesus is the ark, we enter into Him at His crucifixion and that was the start of the feast of unleavened bread. That was the start of the church age. At the end of the church age we have the sudden destruction. "As you have done it will be done unto you". Satan doesn't get to kill Jesus a second time, this time it is the Great Babylon that gets killed. Jesus was killed on the Passover, seven days later the Great Babylon is killed.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
Everyone is focused on "when" will the rapture take place, instead we should be looking at where the Lord is going to prepare. The US is where the Lord has prepared. This nation has been used by the Lord to prepare the world for the end of the age. One ministry that started in the US to spread the word is the Gideon's. They have distributed 2.5 billion Bibles worldwide in the last 120 years just like the gospel ministry of Noah was 120 years. This is the one nation considered a "christian nation" and they have filled the earth with the teachings of the Lord over the radio, TV, and internet.

11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Where? This large upper room is a picture of the chamber the raptured bride goes to.

I like the way they show the entire Satanic system is under this head which is likened to a female whore. So think about government corruption, what is it? That is harlotry. They sell themselves for money. Bribes refer to harlotry. Cartels having "deep state" connections is harlotry. We should not be surprised, we should expect this.
Now when we use terms like "whore" you think of some ugly street walker. But the "queen" of the harlots could be a very high end call girl that might not look like a whore. She is rich, drives expensive cars, lives in the penthouse. Flies all over the world. But the one thing we know about harlots, they don't age well. So the US 50 years ago may have been that very rich, pretty call girl, but now she is looking more and more like a hag.
Second thing we know about whores, they don't do a good job raising a family. You want to know about a harlot just look at her children. They will be foul mouthed, rebellious, etc. Take a look at the children of America. Broken families through the roof, education slides, and money is wasted.
Seal up the revelation till the time of the end
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
If you were interpreting the Bible 100 years ago you would have no idea that the US was the preeminent superpower, you would not have any idea that the US dollar was "king dollar". You would not have seen the apostasy to anywhere near the extent we have seen it today. The idea that male strippers would be at Christian conventions would have been unthinkable. So you wouldn't have known that the US would be on par with Sodom and Gomorrah. You wouldn't know about computers, the internet, or Artificial intelligence. So you would not have seen the beast rising out of the sea. In 1924 it would have seemed preposterous that the entire world would be drawn into a war over Israel. At this time the radio had just barely been released, so knowledge had not really increased. People were still primarily travelling by horse, though the train was also running. But ships and horses, the same speed with which we were travelling at the time of Daniel. No airplanes for the most part, no spaceships, no satellites, no fiber optic cables.
It is perfectly reasonable to apply the word of God to what you see, after all one reason to look at prophecy is to see if it is being fulfilled. If you read the various prophecies and conclude, these are not taking place, then that is an important thing to know.
One major problem that many Bible expositors have is they don't take the Bible literally. They tried to interpret prophecies about Israel at the end of the age as being "allegorical". They tried to interpret "no one being able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast" as only referring to people living in Europe.
When I was growing up my Dad worked for UPI and he created this little dedicated radio like a teletype machine, it simply read the news continuously, like a precursor to CNN. So when I first saw the verse that the Lord's return would be like the lightning striking in the East and shining unto the West it seemed impossible. The earth is round, how can we in the West see the Lord coming down in Israel? So I thought the Lord made a mistake and should have said "It will be like the lightening shines in the East and you hear the thunder in the West". That was just 50 years ago.
My point is we can now see all of these prophecies being fulfilled literally, that means they are no longer sealed up and therefore we are at the time of the end.

Everyone should be aware that Vicky Goforth Parnell warned of us seeing this a few months ago and when everyone (most everyone) sees these strange lights in the heavens it is a warning that the three days of darkness is about to begin. Get to your house, cover the windows so you don't let any light out, make sure you have candles as there will be no light in the unbelievers homes. You should have black garbage bags that you can use to tape to your windows to block out all light. It will be a horror movie outside your home, very deceptive, very creepy, very scary.

Upside Down -- it will be as embarrassing as an entire army being beaten by a loaf of bread.
Isaiah 24:1 Behold, Jehovah maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
I was interested in this phrase "upside down" as a reference to what happens at the start of the Tribulation after the first rapture. I only found it used 6 times but every one seems very informative.

So he makes a very interesting point concerning the Fig tree generation. According to our understanding from Psalm 90 a generation is 70 years, 80 if you are strong. All these things will be fulfilled in this fig tree generation. We understand the fig tree putting forth tender leaves as when Israel as a nation was reborn in 1948. The problem with that is that 80 years later is 2028 and it seems we have already passed that being the fulfillment of all these things. To solve this issue some argued that we should use 1950 because that was when the Knesset first met and that would be the "tender leaves". You can also refer to the Fig tree generation as starting when the UN first started and so their declaration that Israel can return would be their tender leaves. But it seems however you play around with it you can't really get past 2030. So his solution to this is that 2028 will be the midpoint of the tribulation when God pours out His wrath. We are not appointed to wrath so everything for the Christians will be fulfilled by the midpoint.

The reason that is interesting is that the Bible says Abraham was 75 and settled in the land when God promised that His seed would inherit the land. What is also interesting is there is a story about a "2nd Passover" for those who are unclean from the first Passover because of a dead body. The story is complicated because we have Lazarus coming up from the grave at least a week before Palm Sunday (Mary and Martha would be unclean for a week after handling a dead body, so Jesus would not have eaten with them for another week, and that was before, perhaps one day before Palm Sunday). So then it is about two weeks before Passover, but we should consider those who were left behind to have missed the first Passover because they were unclean in handling of the death of Jesus. One cannot but help to see the connection between May 15, 1948 and 2nd Passover.

The fact that "I will go" is 2031 would cause 2031 to come into being as a very significant year in which the Lord will go and the context is His return.
