You won't find the message for eternal salvation in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. One can only be saved by reading and
understanding Paul's letters. This is why so many soul winners us the Romans road as a basis for leading one to salvation.

John 3:16

This is the funniest joke I’ve ever heard in my life thank you lol
The message of salvation is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, the death, burial, and resurrection for our sins. Please post the passages from M,M,L, or J that teach this exact message. Thanks.

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

No mention of the death, burial, and resurrection for our sins. We only read into John 3:16 our knowledge from Paul's letters.
I see the message for eternal salvation in John 3:16: believe in Jesus and live. Don't believe, and perish.

Yes, there is more involved in the gospel message as a whole. But it boils down to that ^

Yeah what books does one find that in ? Paul’s just talking about what saves people that we find in the gospel . Your name is John try looking at the gospel of John as if it’s a book about your creator and God who stepped off of his throne in Heaven and came onto the world to save us all .born as the son of man partaking of all the choas and death we caused in order to save us from it

and also it think this would usually go without saying we need to listen to what Our God said I’ll save any man that hears him and believes

what I just said doesn’t conflict with him dying for sins and being raised up Paul is not excluding anything else he would never ever remove the words of god from the gospel your mistaken on this trying to o my allow a few lines into the whole understanding

Paul is one of the early Christian’s converted after Jesus rose up by Jesus himself as an apostle and servant and witness tbat the gospel is true and will save believers . Look to the gospel where that event can be found

Well there is your opening to share the Gospel. But if he says: "Not really," then there is no point going any further at this time.
Not quite true. many sinners feeling the conviction hard will say anything to get rid of you.
It's been proven time & time again that it always gets the darkest just before daylight. Many sinners are at their worst before coming to Christ.

Can a man be saved without the knowledge of the death, burial, and resurrection for sins?

Can a man be saved without the knowledge of the death, burial, and resurrection for sins?
By almighty God the savior who already knew he would die for them and rise again three days later and was telling them about it since the Old Testament ? And In the gospel ? Which is why Paul knew about it ? Let’s find out

“And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Are you telling me Jesus is wrong ?

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not.

For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63-64, 66-69‬ ‭KJV‬‬

are you saying Peter is wrong ? Do you see where he says “ we believe that you are the Christ the son of the living God ?”

the jewish people knew scripture. The old testsment told them already that the messiah would die for thier sins and be raised up again and that he would ascend into heaven in thier sight and rule from the throne until his enemies be made his footstool

what you are saying Paul invented was already preached for hindreds of years by the prophets and Moses telling them what was going to happen when the messiah came

when he says “ we believe you are the Christ the son of God “ he’s sayon we believe you are the one the Old Testament said would come to save us , he stopped them from understanding intentionally regarding certain things until later

I’m not saying Paul is wrong about anything I’m saying Paul isn’t changing e gospel Jesus sent to all people for salvstion

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just try not to remove this word is all I’m saying to you as a brother

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the same things Jesus taught the disciples in the gospel to all nations that’s why there are four accounts of the gospel in the Bible before you read the epistles we’re supposed to believe it foret them Paul’s words make sense otherwise “ who is this Jesus that died ? What’s Christ mean ? My sins huh whats sin ? He rose from the dead the third day ? Who did that now whom is Jesus ?

of course we need to believe that Jesus died and rose but we need to know him the gospels are this

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Believe in Jesus? What did he do to believe in? It's the message of the cross.
Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.

Surely you realize that is in the gospel of John (1:29)?

"You are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."

That is in the gospel account of Matthew (1:21).

Did you miss all four crucifixion accounts?

And here we are again, back at this verse:

John 12:32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to Myself.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

I could go on, but you may just keep denying that the gospel message is present in the gospels.

Before you attempt to lead a person to Christ you had best spend a lot of time in prayer and study.
You will fail if you are not prepared to answer their questions with the Scripture.
An unlearned and unprepared witness may cause more harm than good in this age that is filled with so much false teaching.

This is not a Calvinist post, it isn't pre-trib, after trib, no trib post. This isn't a my denomination, your denomination, that denomination post. This is a post about the Gospel, the Hope, the Good News that the lost need to hear. Now!! So how do we go about fulfilling the great commission?

The dearest thing to my heart is evangelism, outreach, how do we bring in the lost. The more I read the BDF the more hopelessness I feel. It's like we feel God doesn't want anyone in heaven. Shoot if it was up to the BDF we wouldn't let half of US in and we claim to know the Lord!! Someone said "The older I get, the more people I'm letting into heaven".

Click if you know the old song, Jesus Saves. Give me a thumbs up in your post if you know the song.

We have heard the joyful sound:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Spread the tidings all around:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Bear the news to ev'ry land,
Climb the steeps and cross the waves;

Onward! 'tis our Lord's command;
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Waft it on the rolling tide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Tell to sinners far and wide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing, ye islands of the sea;
Echo back, ye ocean caves;
Earth shall keep her jubilee:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Fourth verse

4 Give the winds a mighty voice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Let the nations now rejoice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Shout salvation full and free,
Highest hills and deepest caves;

This our song of victory:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Most of those verses I can sing from memory. Let's see if we can keep this on topic. You are meeting someone who has never heard of the Bible, or Jesus, the Holy Spirit. They have no concept of God. They won't understand your church talk and your cliches. You can't quote a Bible verse, they don't know it. What are you going to say to give that person hope? How are you going to share the Good News and tell them Jesus saves. Not the Calvinistic way, the Baptist way, the KJV way. It's just you and someone who needs to know how to get to heaven. What do you say? Share with me the Good News as if I had never heard any of it before. Let's start!
Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Just as I am
Jesus Paid it All
Blessed Assurance
Once for All (oldie but goodie)

You will fail if you are not prepared to answer their questions with the Scripture.
One can use scriptural answers without quoting Scripture. That can come later. The OP was asking for a very basic approach. Someone who does not even read the Bible may converse on another level if you come down to their level. They may want to talk about anything and you can do the same until the proper time.

Denominational churches still play a role and technically there is nothing wrong with denominational church services:
Baptist
Methodist
Lutheran
Episcopalian
Presbyterian
Etc.

But you do not know when that proper time may come so I still believe one should be prepared to deal with many questions before you even attempt to witness to them.

Mmm, usually In witnessing, you’re following the HS leading. There’s not one method for all.
