Sorry the comments went right past you. They will perhaps help others capable of thinking on such things.
prov.1:
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

It seems to me that the writing is clearly intended to be salvific. The writing is personalized and offered as an invitation. Christ will tenderly enter in if anyone opens the door of their heart to Him.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

- Revelation 3:20
Salvation is God giving a person a NEW HEART,Ezk36:

Selah, take notice it is the Spirit of God doing these 7 things, not the sinner opening a door:

1]25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:

2]from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

3]26 A new heart also will I give you,

4]
and a new spirit will I put within you:

5]and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,

6]and I will give you an heart of flesh.

7]27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

not a sinner opening any door of his heart.Jer.17:9

I doubt you grasp the gospel at all.
and that statement flies right back at you ------

Stop Deceiving People about How people get saved ---the Word --Jesus ----tells you how ----your Preaching another Gospel ---it is the gospel of a Man call Calvin---who took a piece of Scripture and Twisted to mean something it does not -----and your following his wrong teaching -----

You need to take HEED to this Scripture here -----and it is said Twice ------so it is IMPORTANT TO GET

Galatians 1:8-9----Read this carefully ---

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!

9 As we said before, so I now say again:
If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from or contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!

Can you show where I posted anything from John Calvin?

I like people like you who do not really grasp salvation in the bible, but you are in a hurry to accuse the brethren of teaching another gospel. That is the work of satan, not a Chrisitan brother.

If those words are NOT in the text, why do you say it is a "clear scripture?
Here is another clear scripture I am sure you will love;
jn3:
15 that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during,
16 for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.
right we have to hear the gospel to believe it. He sent the gospel to every creature for salvation

Whoever believes the truth the gospel God spoke and then went to all creatures will be saved

That scripture there John 3:16 is true God loves all people and his Will is that all people would repent and believe the gospel and be saved .

our Will often is to not hear what God said therefore we can’t believe what it is he said we have to hear what Jesus the savior said about salvation and accept it

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can’t believe things we won’t hear about and accept is what I’m saying like this

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This clearly is the son of God teaching believers in him about forgivness and how God will apply mercy and judgement. But many can’t accept this because it requires someone who needs and believes it to begin acting upon it making forgivness not an afterthought but puts it in front of us as an imperative aspect of our own salvation

if you do this , God will do this . But if you do this other thing , God also will do this other thing.

That’s what faith is. It has to begin with what He said to someone and what he’s said to all mankind is the gospel

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

All a man does is hear what God said and either we accept it and live or reject it and die. We’ve all heard this first before we could believe it

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If no one ever tells anyone that they can’t believe it and be saved God can and is willing to save everyone but we also have to cooperate with him according to the offer of salvstion he made and promise written in his own blood

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the gospel must first be published among all nations.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Yes everyone that believes will be saved but we have to believe the gospel he sent for us to believe and be saved

Yes exactly. He is not the Saviour of Israelites only, but of all men , Jew and gentile.
Obviously, all men who were ever born, are not going to be saved.
amen only people who hear the truth and respond will be saved all can be but many won’t respond heres a perfect parable of what I mean

“The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: and the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:2-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s not that they weren’t invited or beckoned and provided for , but they would not attend they had better things to do when invited and chose those things over attending the wedding all can be saved but only those who attend the invite and don’t reject it

I dont think we’re saying different things I must have misunderstood you

Dude, it’s your writing. About two sentences in and it’s almost not in English. I have to read through half of it to figure it out. And plus, we’re back to some kind of basic knowledge thing. Yes, we know Jesus died for us and redeemed us from the grave and so on (I am joyful and thankful. Don’t think I’m not.) But why go over it and over it and over it and over it?
“…And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

not a sinner opening any door of his heart.Jer.17:9

Do you see this Selah?
What is your point for stressing that a sinner does not open his heart?

I disagree with applying Jeremiah 17:9 to Jesus ministering to a sinner’s heart. When Jesus mentions the “heart” to the two on the road to Emmaus in Lk 24:25
“Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!”
‭‭Later on after He had appeared to them and vanished they talked about how their heart burned within them Lk 24:32
“And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?””

I’m pretty sure the term “heart” in Jeremiah 17:9 is different from “heart” as it relates to salvation and how Jesus encourages us. This is pretty important to salvation Rev 3:20.

That’s a pretty big error. Surprising

Let me ask you a few biblical questions in order to move forward.

What do you believe happened to Adam at the fall ?

What did Adams fall mean for us?

Have you ever studied the heart in the bible?

You know, one sign of being saved is that your heart burns within you (desire more of Jesus). The Pharisees’ biggest allegation against the disciples is that they were “unlearned” in the scriptures and Jewish Law, yet they turned the world upside down. The Pharisees were unsaved. I’m convinced after reading your posts and questions that you may have not had a salvation experience with Jesus. If that’s true, then you won’t be able to relate to anything I’m saying. That’s okay, as long as you desire to have Jesus be Lord of your life.

I asked you some basic questions about Adam from the book of Genesis.
Could you answer those questions?

I have had Mormons say that to me. Are you a Mormon?

The Pharisees’ biggest allegation against the disciples is that they were “unlearned” in the scriptures and Jewish Law, yet they turned the world upside down.
Are you turning the world upside down? How are you doing that?

What do you mean a salvation experience? What is that?

If that’s true, then you won’t be able to relate to anything I’m saying. That’s okay, as long as you desire to have Jesus be Lord of your life.
yeah, your thoughts are so deep.

-Not a Mormon.
-Not turning the works upside down.
-A time in your life when you did something similar to Roman 10:9-10 (not exactly but similar) and became a changed person - a born again experience (there’s a lot of words for it - saved, salvation, born again, conversion).
-Only a question, not meant to be smart.

Adams fall meant that sin and death entered the world. It also brought the curse of work (sweat if the brow) into the world for mean.

I haven’t done an in-depth study of anything (heart). I’ve listened to a lot of Bible tapes, read the Bible a lot, fasted, but I’ve pondered about things. I think the heart (as mentioned earlier in Jeremiah) could mean that drive in us that’s motivated to self-preservation and to operate in the mind, will, and emotions. It’s a center point that can house desires such as a drive to want something badly enough to justify it by whatever means possible. It’s also that part of us that we have to let go of for a moment at salvation- similar to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. His heart was saying “Is there any other way? If it’s possible?” But then He let go of His own heart (so to speak) and surrendered to God, saying (like all of us) “I don’t understand it all but I’m gonna trust You in this.”

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭
there's a lot i could say about this (i mean, have you met me? big talker :p ).

i'll simply say i believe it imprudent for us to try to separate our High Priest's work of mediation (as the advocate in v. 1) and propitiation. in Jn 17 the Lord says He's praying for believers, not for the world. does He satisfy the wrath of God for people He won't even pray for?

10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
why, do you think, there's a specific difference spoken of there? why the "specially"?
