Free people can choose good or evil so we can actually give God the authority over us or can let Satan run us around like dogs in chains

John 8:36 plus Romans 8:2 If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.

From Romans 6:16-18 ~ Do you not know that you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
:D
I’m glad I learned to steal your hard work lol my screen is so colorful now woo hoo

Thank you, BillyBob! I had taken a bit of a break but seem to be back at it full throttle!

2 Corinthians 4:4
:)

I made a few more edits to that one ^

Romans 18:20
:)

Have I never posted that one before? It is not on my document of saved urls!!!

From Acts 17:26 - 28

Acts 17:26-27 ~ From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands. God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.

PS~ That one was a lot of fun to design given the "woman" I found to work with, who I had found after the topic of Adam and Eve in the garden had been ongoing for a while. At that time, I had I think it was something like forty tabs open in one browser alone (I always have more than one browser going at a time [sometimes four]), and most of them had images open in them for me to consider whether to save or not. I was going through the tabs trying to make those decisions so I could close the tabs when I found her... my perfect Eve LOL. It's from over two years ago now! How time flies... Oh, that Romans 1:18-20 is from April and the working copy is radically different...

The reformers believed the bible and they believed that the papacy was the antichrist.

It makes sense if you look at the identifying characteristics in the bible.

The devil is good at hiding the truth and confusing things.

So much history with so much truth but people today have forgotten or feel no need.

When Jesus came the first time the religious leaders did not see their Messiah because they were so obsessed with themselves.

The Catholic church ruled the world for many years and then people like Martin Luther, John Calvin, Huldrych Zwingli, John Wycliffe and more stood up against the tradition and stared to obey the bible.
The protestant reformation was founded on justification by faith alone and sola scripture.

Has the world forgotten this and is the Catholic church regaining its power?
It's not over till the fat angel blows his trumpet.

The Reformation was always gunna be partial, it was fantastic, it was glorious, but they never reformed the basic structures of the church ... it was still headed by men and crucially it was still [and still is] wedded to the state.

I think we are going to learn alot from the Chinese house churches in the next few years.

Jesus has the keys to death and hell. He is ruling and reigning. History has always been under Divine control and is following a Divine timetable. Everything is going as planned.
Hi cameron yes jesus has full authority in heaven and on earth ( Mat 28:18 ) as it was given to him but he will reign on his return that is certain, it is part of GOD' plan, but for now evil is growing, this is also part of God's plan and is in prophecy, these evil days will culminate during the tribulation that is coming.

Blessings.

Many believe the great prostitute in revelations is the catholic church, what we see now happening is the rise of globalism, One religion, one world government, Francis at the head of the church is now destroying christian values in many ways, He is not the first pope that started this but is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Recently Archbishop Vigano was excommunicated by the pope for denouncing Francis's role in Globalism and destruction of Christian values;

The greatest benefit the world received from the protestant movement was the liberation of the Bible from the restrictions of the catholic authorities.. The protestant movement sought to justify their rejection of the catholic religion by giving the scriptures to the common people via Mass printing the Bible and translating it from the Latin into the languages of the common peoples of the different European countries..

Once the people started reading the Bible they could gain access to the ACTUAL Word of God rather then the twisted false traditions/ blasphemies of the catholic religion that had done so much damage to the harvest of the LORD.. Vast fields of catholic tares rather then fields of Christian wheat suddenly had sowers of the actual seed of the Word being sown amongst them..

Of course that did not mean all the varied protestant offshoots actually followed / interpreted the Word of God correctly.. Many false cults sprang up amongst the protestant movement.. But at lest the common man and woman could get their hands on an actual Bible and at lest have an opportunity to embrace the Gospel truth that saves..

As for the current situation.. I believe We are now experiencing the great end times falling away from the truth.. Part of this falling away will be many people embracing false religions.. So the catholic religion being one of those false religions might gain some more followers in the last days.. But other false religions will also gain adherents too..

That may sound depressing and yes it is a sad thing to think about.. But it also gives true followers of The LORD Jesus hope that the second coming of our LORD Jesus is near..

Wherever sin abounds, grace does much more abound. Things are getting better, not worse. If it wasn't for your eschatological outlook that you have been taught, you would understand how the cross changed everything. Since that time, Jesus has been destroying the works of the devil and making things new. Because this is happening gradually through history, you don't see it as well as if He did it all at once. But the effects of sin and Satan happened gradually, and so too has God chosen to undo the effects gradually.
