There is something that is heavy on my heart that I am hoping someone can help me with, I would deeply appreciate advice.
I regularly hear my fellow Christians call out the atrocities of abortion and this is right, I stand by this. However, I do not hear Christians calling out the abuses that happen to children. I am in NO WAY condoning abortion but I wish those that stood on the side of God were less concerned with the abortion narrative and redirected some of that energy to take action against the injustices that children face on this earth.

Where is their protection?
Not from police officers as many police departments have been charged with their involvement in child slavery and sexual abuse.
Not the foster care system is an almost guaranteed doorway into sexual abuse or child slavery.
Not the most powerful church in history (Catholic) and with the highest amount of followers as their leaders have been and continue to be charged with child sexual abuse.

So my heart hurts, we are fighting to ensure Gods gifts come into this world and rightfully so, but what are they facing once they do?

You're right. The way I look at it is if a person cares deeply about something they should get involved and do something to help the situation, not just "call it out."

I love the Bible verse on your profile by the way. Ecclesiastes is one of my favorite books.

I have not heard of any of this in the US.... are there any references to this?

My personal belief is that if someone uses their position of authority/trust to abuse children, they should be promptly executed... no more than 2 weeks after conviction. Preferrably sooner.

First: Howdy and welcome to the forum.

Second: The police officers do what? In what area? In what country? I'm in Tennessee, USA, so I have heard nothing of this.

Third: Foster care is WHAT? Again, in what country? Again, as I am in Tennessee, USA, I have heard nothing of this.

@Lynx & @hornetguy - Please google search "law enforcement" or "foster care" leading to child sex trafficking in the USA. There is plenty of articles from all media outlets available. Please educate yourselves around these issues as these are innocent children.

Yeah.... ok. I'll check into it. An actual link to a report would have been valuable for this discussion, but... is what it is.

@hornetguy - I'd rather the discussion not be centered around one report. Due diligence on this matter is necessary, each of us taking the time to educated ourselves instead of the conversation diverging into off topic matters. My concern is that innocent children are suffering and as Christians we have a responsibility to help Gods gifts.
