It would seem the Olympics are still the pagan festival they have always been. Of course the priestesses are just "acting" now when they recite prayers to Apollo to light the Olympic flame at the ceremony in the ancient Olympian sanctuary; aren't they?

The Mission of the Olympic committee:

6 to act against any form of discrimination affecting the Olympic Movement;

If this is in fact in line with their mission they are clearly identifying Christians as being the form of discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community including Bacchus and orgies. By strengthening the unity they mean with all people other than Evangelical Christians.
