Welcome to the CC @BizBo
I hope your time spent here is blessed and fruitful.

Neurodiversity is my life! Well, not mine exactly (meaning I am not). But, I am blessed to be raising a couple of kiddos who are. We homeschool them and a lot of times they are teaching me as much as I am teaching them (and maybe sometimes more).

Thank you ☺️ it’s been a blessing for sure being here. Could not be more grateful for all the love and feedback and tips! Also that’s wonderful to hear! You’ve got to be an angel! ✝️ I’m glad are helping those who really need it the most. I’m sure your kiddos are going to thrive and be ready to conquer life’s challenges since they have God on their side and a very supportive mother 😊 That makes my heart happy!

Vancouver is a few hours away from here. That’s funny, I visited Vancouver with my family when I was little, it was absolutely beautiful. But yeah it is nice to be able to be close to a beach, see mountains all the while trekking through a forest and be near a volcano haha.
Sounds like some people from not too terribly far from my corner of the globe. I'm on the dry side of the state now after living in the wet half most of my life, but I was just visiting not far from there, more around Longview.

For those confused:

Neuro Divergent means simply that....a person whose cognitive abilities deviate from "average".
This includes people such as Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, and etc to those afflicted with Down Syndrome or Bipolar disorders. (And all points in between)

This doesn't mean that you are advantaged or disadvantaged by Neuro divergence....it simply means that your particular obstacles have been categorized by neurologists. Autistic people can seem to be disadvantaged, depending upon their communicative abilities, but often their ability to perform, however tightly structured, is well beyond average.

Some neuro divergence is nature, some is nurture. For example those who were born into very wealthy families have a hand up to obtaining their own wealth, if it wasn't handed to them, through the thought processes trained into them from infancy by parents who are the business elites in society. (Lottery winners need not apply)

And a quick note to remind us....
"A man's life does not consist of his possessions" ("or lack thereof" is implied but not said by Jesus)
We ALL have challenges that we face....it's how we approach, overcome, or navigate through these challenges in life that is what our life consists of.

Although I now reside in South Africa (a long story in itself), my roots are in Washington state. I have a personal connection to the topic of neurodiversity as my grandson, who lives in Vancouver, is on the spectrum.
As a new member, I'm eager to contribute and assist in any way I can.
