Paid 60 for a Cone of Shame for our dog, when she injured her paw.
AFTER we paid and our dog destroyed it the vet told us our dog's snout is too long for the cone to effectively work for her.

Here's a vet student showing different kinds. I even saw one made by a DIY out of a pool noodle. Don't know how these would work for your dog, but I doubt you would be happy with an emergency call bill outside hours if you have the same problem again.
Just do a search for Elizabethan Collars and you'll find dozens of YouTube videos and suppliers for instructions on each. They might even be available at a local pet store or tractor supply type place.

I Hope your dog heals quickly.

Well, we can make our own designer cones now, lol, and I'll write 'I am healed by the stripes of Jesus' on it too😂😂😂

When life gives you boiled eggs, make egg salad.
I drove to my organics' store to get some egg salad earlier today. .:D

Sometimes they have some prepped at the corner store which sells other prepped food stuffs,
but egg salad is very hit-and-miss as is their really wonderful Greek salad (meaning they do not
always have it). Went to buy egg salad, ended up spending $65.85
.:unsure::giggle:. Also bought soup,
bread, cookies, kefir, another sandwich, and roasted potato wedgies... Yum!

I shared my cookies with my apartment building management team on my way in .:D

Wow...those prices seem high. I can feed a family of ten for a little over $200 a week.

The pastor announced a board meeting at the rear of the church after the service was over. When the meeting started, one of the board members noticed a stranger there. When he asked the stranger what he was doing there. the stranger replied, "I was just as board as anyone else here."

Yes, it is expensive/costs a lot to stay alive and eat halfway healthy. As a single I tend to buy a lot of already prepared food. I am sure it is much different in multiple-people households. Heh, my sister remembers being given forty dollars to do grocery shopping for the week for our family of 13. Times have changed! Plus I eat organics when I can. Some people pooh-pooh that, and others simply cannot afford it. I wonder how some can afford to eat at all any more! I was trying to remember what else I may have bought but, that was it, and I have the bill right here:

Bag discount (we are well trained here) ................................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,-$0.05
Organic goat milk blueberry kefir
.............................................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.$6.49
Lemon raspberry cookies
..................................................................................$6.99
Fruit and nut squares
.........................................................................................$12.99
Heritage sour dough bread
..............................................................................$7.99
turkey/veg sangy (it's huge!)
. (........................................................................$8.99
Egg salad
..................................................................................................................$5.86
hot soup (chicken orzo mixed with chicken noodle [self-serve])
...$11.99
potato wedges
......................................................................................................$3.24

It adds up fast! The soup will be my lunches at work tomorrow and Friday, and I have left-over egg salad...

I'm an advocate of healthy eating and salute you for doing so. Also, I'm an advocate for regular exercise and building up the immune system. It's nearly impossible to get the nutrition from the food supply these days. I recommend a good supplement routine.

I find staying active to be a challenge, and it is a fact that I said yes to going back to work because it would help me in that way. It sure does not hurt that I got a very good raise, reduced work week (3 days instead of 5), a six hour day, and get treated very well. I was on the phone with my daughter for close to an hour and a half last night listening to her telling me about her workplace dynamics. After over ten years there, she feels like quitting, because she is undervalued and made to feel like she is at fault for things that are at best beyond her control and at worst the fault of the office manager who is scapegoating her. I was at my current job for 25 years before my then-boss admitted that I was better than he was at what we did. LOL. Some things just take time. And while I have a lot of spare time, I am otherwise not very motivated to walk out my door, so going for coffee on my days off and then walking to the corner store afterwards is quite an adventure for me LOL.
