Not what was in the bill. The original bill from the House had all that. The bill that came out of the Senate did not.
Sure it did.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/co...m-reform-bill-released-senate-text-rcna136602

The bill includes a new emergency authority that would allow the Department of Homeland Security to, as Biden has put it, “shut down” the border if there are too many migrants trying to cross.
DHS could close the border if Border Patrol encountered 4,000 or more migrants on average over seven days. The border would have to be shut down if those encounters reached a seven-day average of 5,000 or if they exceeded 8,500 in a single day.
The bill would also end the practice of “catch and release.”
The bill would mandate detaining migrants who try to enter the U.S. outside of official ports of entry, pending any asylum claims. Those who fail would also be removed.
The bill allocates funding for repatriation flights up to 77 per day.
The bill also raises the “credible fear” standard during interviews for asylum claims, largely by front-loading consideration of whether migrants have disqualifying criminal histories, whether they lived safely in third countries before trying to cross into the U.S. and whether they could safely relocate within their own countries.

Proving that something is missing would be easier to prove than proving something there shouldn't be counted as legitimate.
What is missing?

Someone kept harping on about something along the lines that it's Repubs fault because the 'shouldn't have counted the presidency won and stopped voting and "kept on voting throughout the night," which basically implies that is what the Dems did and so that's how they won.
 lol, but, nobody let the Repubs in on the fact that the polls weren't actually closed until Biden won.
Where specifically were polls kept open until Biden was declared the winner?

Sorry, I guess I'm just not understanding what you're saying.
As much as I don't understand how even Hillary had the integrity to concede to Trump her disappointment so that everyone could go to bed and, even though Biden was in the same position at the commencement of Election Night... and now it seems there is more bait and switch tactics going on with the appointment of Harris, only this time in plain sight.

Whatever. I guess that make me weird.

Stop already. The bill the Senate passed allowed 5,000 illegal aliens in each day before they would stop allowing people in.

Another new member right before the election trying to tell Christians that Kamala isn't a commie. Spidey senses tingling.

Thanks for explaining. I still don't understand what point you're making, but that's probably my fault.

Stop what?

The bill the Senate passed allowed 5,000 illegal aliens in each day before they would stop allowing people in.
The 5,000 refers to migrants, some (likely most) of whom would be legal asylum seekers.

How is Harris a communist?

Although the characteristic of blind trust is endearing in a child, it's concerning when active in the matured.

Why would you say that about me?

I'm here to see if I can have thoughtful discussions with people who have different opinions and views than me without anger, name calling, etc.

I'm really sorry to see your reply.

Divergent thinking is not allowed, if you do think in a divergent manner, or perhaps question the prevailing pro Trump narrative you must be a Marxist, or a Fascist or a Communist, or an Anti-Semite .. or maybe even all of them at once.

That's exactly why I'm here! It's that sort of thinking that destroyed my old church.

For the MAGA folks, not being MAGA meant you were a Marxist communist.

For the liberals, supporting Trump meant you were a fascist and racist.

As Christians, I'm confident we can do better, especially with each other.

All views are welcome. Lying about what was in the Senate bill that passed is not. The Senate bill codified open borders. The bill the House passed shut down the border. By the time the Senate marked it up and passed it, it looked nothing like the bill they were sent. This is why the House voted against it. To come on this thread and lie about it is what trolls do.

I Forgot racist, lol, good catch!!

Tim Alberta has written a very thoughtful book on this problem.
Christians have allowed themselves to be polarized and they value Trump more than each other, very tragic.

Every single one of is "taking in" misinformation and disinformation.
We need to be always aware of this, everything needs to be verified and re-verified.
However, I will go back and read the thread.

Well to be fair I do not see any supporting links for your assertion in going back over this part of the discussion?
