This is my Confession
"I need God"

Authorized (King James) Version

13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
15 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Psalm 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 103:12
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Woe woe is me

Isaiah 6:1-7

Authorized (King James) Version

6 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said,
Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts:
the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 and he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isaiah 6:1-7

Living Bible

6 The year King Uzziah died I saw the Lord! He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the Temple was filled with his glory. 2 Hovering about him were mighty, six-winged angels of fire. With two of their wings they covered their faces, with two others they covered their feet, and with two they flew. 3 In a great antiphonal chorus they sang, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is filled with his glory.” 4 Such singing it was! It shook the Temple to its foundations, and suddenly the entire sanctuary was filled with smoke.
5 Then I said, “My doom is sealed, for I am a foul-mouthed sinner, a member of a sinful, foul-mouthed race; and I have looked upon the King, the Lord of heaven’s armies.”
6 Then one of the mighty angels flew over to the altar and with a pair of tongs picked out a burning coal. 7 He touched my lips with it and said, “Now you are pronounced ‘not guilty’ because this coal has touched your lips. Your sins are all forgiven.”

John 19:28-30
Jesus knew that everything was now finished, and to fulfill the Scriptures said, “I’m thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so a sponge was soaked in it and put on a hyssop branch and held up to his lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished,” and bowed his head and dismissed his spirit.

What got finished y'all? Is the Law finished? or is it simply fulfilled?
Do we nor try to do the Law? Or do we trust God to do the fulfilled Law of Son as risen through us?
Beleive or not beleive God in this done work or not, thanks

God does what he said he would do; and we walk with God as Jesus and the Apostles taught rather than keeping the Law of Moses engraved in stone.

During the late '70s in seminary and as a pastor in seven churches, I studied the relationship between the old and new covenants. Some passages seem to say that the old covenant has disappeared; while others, that it has continued.

Well, I believe after studying all those verses, that the old covenant's external, national form of the laws have disappeared, for example, the forms of animal sacrifices, the Sabbath, and clean and unclean foods.

On the other hand, the internal principles or intentions of those laws continue on into the lives of Christians in the New Testament.

To give you examples, of course, the one bloody sacrifice of Jesus has replaced all of those bloody sacrifices. Furthermore, all the Sabbath laws' outward regulations have been replaced by the Lord's Day as one day of rest from our daily work and worship of our God out of the seven days in the week. Finally, the clean and unclean regulations of Leviticus 11 have been replaced by Jesus' and Paul's teachings that all food received with genuine thanksgiving is clean but that inner cleansing of an unclean heart must happen every day through prayer by God's cleansing through Jesus' death by the Holy Spirit.

Thank you.
‘I see the entire Bible as one gigantic love letter from God to everyone to do the same love and mercy given us. By son’s willingness to go to that cross without a flesh fight at all. The risen which made a spectacle of any self righteousness Col. 1-2 chapters

amen

“The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

“But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.

For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:11-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
